General Hospital Recap October 23, 2026: Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Chase Fly Far for a Divorce That Will Not Finish
This General Hospital Recap catches Brook Lynn and Chase stalling on divorce papers, Ava and Drew’s panic, and Ric facing off with Monet.
CHASE STALLS WITH BROOK LYNN IN THIS GENERAL HOSPITAL RECAP
TL;DR: This General Hospital Recap catches Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Chase freezing over their divorce papers in the Dominican Republic. Ava Jerome summons Drew Cain because Joe Fitzpatrick is poking around the night Jack Brennan vanished, Ric Lansing and Monet Mitchell clash over Willow Tait’s libel suit, Dante Falconeri helps Elizabeth Baldwin with Aiden’s big news, Sonny Corinthos tries to hire Hudson Parker, and Jason Morgan questions Josslyn Jacks.

Divorce Papers Stop Two Pens
After that brutal sit-down with the attorneys, Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Chase took off for the Dominican Republic and a speedy divorce, which is one way to say “we’re fine” with a boarding pass. Somewhere over the clouds, they agreed that ending the marriage did not have to make them enemies.
Then a judge asked whether the split was by mutual consent, and the pair responded by gushing about each other so sweetly that he started to wonder why they were there. He left to fetch the paperwork. When he came back, both of them stalled with pens in hand. Nothing says amicable like two people flying all that way and then being unable to finish the one thing on the itinerary.
Nobody announced a change of heart, and nobody announced the opposite. They simply held the pens a little too long, which in Port Charles is practically a confession. Considering these two spent the whole flight swearing they would never be enemies, the real danger may be that they cannot stay exes either.
Do you think this pair finally signs, or is one of them about to walk out of that judge’s office? Email your theories to amber@soapoperamagazine.com, because we are dying to hear them.

Ava and Drew Panic
Ava Jerome summoned Drew Cain to the gallery with the frazzled energy of a woman whose alibi had sprung a leak. Staffers at Metro Court Gardens remembered spotting her alongside Jack Brennan the evening the agent from the WSB went missing, and Joe Fitzpatrick had caught wind of it. Drew, forever the picture of serenity, reminded her that the security cameras had gone dark on his orders, so no footage existed of her feeding Jack a sleeping pill. Ava was not comforted. Reassurance from Drew is like a life jacket made of tissue paper.
What really burned her was the source of the trouble. Lulu’s article, she snapped, was the only reason Joe was retracing Jack’s final steps at all. In a burst of brilliance, she suggested moving the corpse, and Drew shot that idea down as far too risky. No one would ever find it, he swore, since both the cops and the WSB had already settled on Nina Reeves as the culprit. That is a very tidy plan right up until the detective starts counting your visitors.
Ava lashed out at him for setting up her friend, and she wished she had listened to Nina and kept far away from him. Drew answered with the grimmest pep talk in Port Charles: if the two of them started a war with each other, prison would be waiting for both, and as long as Jack stayed lost, they were safe. Nothing bonds two people quite like a shared secret and a shared set of handcuffs.

Lulu and Willow Square Off
Ric Lansing confessed to Lulu Spencer ahead of the pretrial sit-down that his last clash with the opposing attorney had left him second-guessing the plan to scare Willow Tait into dropping her libel suit. Lulu, with The Invader no longer behind her and a demand for millions in damages hanging overhead, panicked, but her reputation was on the line, so she still would not run a retraction.
Back at the law firm, Monet Mitchell asked Willow why Alexis Davis had tried to steer her away from the case. Willow laid out the sticky history between Alexis and Drew, while Monet worried whether the ex-husband might wreck the lawsuit. Willow flashed to the pair of attempts she had made on his life, then calmly assured her lawyer that Drew had stayed silent only because every word of the article was false. Truly, she deserves an award for the straightest face in Port Charles.
Once everyone gathered, Ric warned that court would end badly for Willow. Monet fired back that her side had plenty of ammunition, starting with the fact that the supposed victim, Drew, had never stepped forward to support Lulu. Willow claimed the Quartermaines had pulled Lulu’s strings in a bid to take her kids, while Lulu insisted she was merely exposing a congresswoman’s crime. Neither woman budged, so Ric vowed to see them at trial. Outside in the corridor, he told a rattled Lulu a new plan was coming, which is lawyer for “I have no idea.”
Dante Offers Cupcake Support
Elizabeth Baldwin leaned on Dante Falconeri with news that Aiden Spencer had quietly passed his GED, sent an application to the Paris pastry school he adored, and won a scholarship. Liz fretted that his age made it a mistake to let him go. Dante weighed the upsides and downsides with her, then gently suggested the real problem was that she was not ready to be left with a quiet house. He added how his own mother backed him when he first moved out.
Liz felt better until she remembered that Aiden would be gone in four days and she still owed everyone treats for the Halloween bash. Dante revealed a hidden talent for baking and volunteered to help, and she gratefully accepted. Port Charles may be full of mobsters and schemers, but its true heroes carry piping bags.

Sonny Tries to Hire Hudson
Sonny Corinthos asked Jason Morgan to look into a hunch that Josslyn Jacks was behind the Pentonville setup, figuring she might confide in Jason alone. Then he contacted Hudson Parker, hoping to control what Joss did with JJE. Once the message arrived, Joss volunteered to take his seat, but Hudson wanted answers and headed to the local Grill himself.
Sonny reminded him that Jax would be furious to find his company bent toward a vendetta, a mess that would land squarely on Hudson. His offer was simple: stay on, get paid, and stop Joss from wrecking JJE. Hudson saw the upside right away. Keep her fixated on her father’s goals, spoil her plan against Sonny, and protect his own spot for when Jax came home. He assumed an enormous consultant’s fee was coming, but Sonny announced that he would take what was offered, and anyone who refused was a fool. Charming negotiating style, truly.
Jason Questions Josslyn
Jason showed up at Joss’s apartment and asked whether she had framed Sonny for the beating of Sidwell. Joss, certain Sonny was guilty and pointing a finger at her to dodge blame, was stung that Jason had bought it. When she pressed him, he said he believed both of them were responsible.
She declared that she would keep pushing Sonny out of town whether or not he ordered the attack. Jason asked why Sonny earned her wrath while he did not. Josslyn explained that she disagreed with some of what Jason did, yet he had saved her life more than once and had always been in her mother’s corner. As her godfather, he had her back since day one, and he vowed he forever would. She smiled and said she was lucky, which is sweet, considering he had arrived to accuse her of a crime.

Port Charles Cannot Finish Anything
Port Charles spent the day proving that ending things is the hard part. A divorcing couple flew far from home and could not make their pens move, Ava and Drew sweated over a missing agent and a detective who kept asking questions, and Lulu and Willow dug in their heels as their lawyers traded jabs. Dante helped Liz face an empty nest with a tray of cupcakes, Sonny tried to buy a man who answers to Josslyn, and Jason sat down with the goddaughter he might have to choose against. That is life on General Hospital, where the secrets are buried deep and the signatures stay blank.
