JASON MORGAN SWORE TO STAY SILENT UNLESS SOMEONE ASKED, AND TRACY JUST ASKED

TL;DR: On Wednesday, October 21, Tracy cornered Jason Morgan at the stables and asked if Lucy Coe tried to take control of Deception. Two days earlier he promised Serena he would say nothing unless asked. His answer hasn’t aired, and Lucy has the most to lose.

Tracy Asks the One Question Jason Couldn’t Dodge

These General Hospital spoilers start in the Quartermaine stables, where Tracy Quartermaine called in Jason Morgan on Wednesday, October 21. She wanted an update on how he was lightening Ned Quartermaine‘s load at ELQ. Then she asked about Deception, and she warned him that Lucy would make a move when they least expected it.

Jason said nothing, and his silence told Tracy everything. He said he was being careful, and Tracy snapped that wasn’t what she asked. Jason pointed out that she hadn’t asked him anything. So she did: “Has Lucy Coe tried to take control of Deception?” The episode ended that scene on the question, and Jason’s answer has not aired.

Jason Morgan and Serena Baldwin at Deception as Jason catches the proxy scheme on General Hospital

The Loophole Jason Gave Serena on Monday

That question walked straight through the only exit Jason left himself. On Monday, Serena Baldwin rushed him to sign what she called a time-sensitive contract. Jason read it, as he reads everything, and found a line handing over Michael Corinthos‘s proxy. He called it fraud and threatened to go to Tracy.

Serena admitted her mother, Lucy Coe, pushed her into it, and said Lucy only wanted creative control back, not the whole company. She begged him to keep quiet. Our October 19 recap caught the moment Jason agreed, on one condition: nobody asks him directly.

On Wednesday, Lucy apologized for the “snafu” and then asked the real question: “How long do I have before Tracy forces me out of my own company?” Jason told them never to ask for the proxy again. After he left, Lucy wanted another way to get her controlling interest back. Serena balked and said nobody had a reason to ask Jason. Our October 21 recap shows how fast that aged.

Who Holds What at Deception

Here’s the map that makes the proxy worth stealing. Lucy co-founded Deception and still runs it. This summer she took half of Brook Lynn Quartermaine‘s shares. Then Maxie Jones sold hers to Michael on her way to Australia, and suddenly a Quartermaine heir was sitting on the stake that decides who runs the company.

Michael flew to Germany with Jordan on October 14 and left his proxy with his uncle, so the swing vote at Deception belongs to Jason Morgan for now. With Michael’s vote, Lucy could hold on to her company. Without it, the Quartermaine side holds the cards, and Tracy is the one dealing. No wonder Serena still has a couple of proxy documents for Jason to sign, and he told her he will read them “carefully.”

Did Jason Tell Tracy About Lucy on General Hospital?

Not yet. The scene stops on Tracy’s question, and nothing in the confirmed previews for Thursday or Friday picks it back up. Friday belongs to Jason calling out Josslyn, per our weekly spoilers for October 19 to 23. Keep our two-week General Hospital spoilers close for the next move.

Jason Morgan’s Loyalty Math

Put the three names on the scale. Tracy is his aunt, the woman whose house he lives in, and the boss who just asked him to carry more of ELQ. Michael is his nephew, and it is Michael’s vote Lucy tried to sneak away while he was out of the country. Serena is the only one he made a promise to, and the promise had an expiration date built in.

Jason doesn’t lie well, and he doesn’t like to. My gut tells me he answers Tracy honestly but on his own terms, something like “she tried, I stopped it, it’s handled.” That keeps his word to Serena in spirit while giving Tracy the truth. Don’t be surprised if Tracy hears only the first two words.

What Lucy Loses Either Way

If Jason talks, Tracy has a con job to throw in Lucy’s face and every reason to force Lucy out, which is exactly what Lucy fears. Serena gets burned too. She wanted to wait for Michael, and her mother wouldn’t hear it.

If Jason stays quiet, Lucy still loses something: she has burned her best shot at the proxy, Jason now reads every page she sends, and Tracy is circling. Lucy’s plan B is still a secret. If I know these writers, it goes around Jason Morgan, not through him.

Jason Owes Tracy the Truth, and Lucy Will Pay for It

Our take: Jason set the rule himself, silence unless asked, and Tracy asked. Lucy tried to swipe Michael’s vote behind his back, and there’s no version of the truth that saves her. The only question is whether Jason throws Serena under the bus with her.
