Inside Pentonville, Curtis Ashford learns how cheap a favor can be. An inmate he takes for one of Sonny’s protectors leans in with a warning: find a reason not to be in your cell after lunch. Curtis takes the hint. The promo then cuts to Sidwell alone in the cell the two men share, a book in his hands, as that same inmate and two others walk in and circle him.
What follows is scheduled for the week of September 28, and it is ugly. Sidwell takes a beatdown, Curtis tries to break it up, and Curtis is the one who ends up in the ICU. We warned in August that a cell shared by Curtis and Sidwell would not hold both men for long. Trina Robinson is about to get the phone call every daughter dreads.
Now think about who that protector really works for. Sonny Corinthos has no crew inside anymore. He promised Justine he would not lay a finger on Sidwell behind bars. The threat against Sonny and the prison tip may be two hands of the same player, because a legitimate Sonny with no soldiers is the easiest man in Port Charles to frame.

The show has not said who Monet is connected to.
My gut says look at Jordan. Her week reads like a woman getting ambushed: she sees something she should not on Tuesday, gets a shock Thursday, and wants answers Friday. A relative with a reason for the estrangement would explain every beat, though another read pins Jordan’s past on a different newcomer, so file that under speculation. Sonny Corinthos is fighting a ghost, Curtis is fighting for his life, and Monet is walking into the middle of all of it.
