GH SHOWDOWN! Jenz Sidwell Handed His Revenge Plot to the One Man Already Working Against Him
On GH, Jenz Sidwell blackmails Ezra into his deadly revenge on Laura and Sonny. We predict he armed the very mole built to destroy him.
JENZ SIDWELL BLACKMAILED EZRA INTO HIS REVENGE AND IT COULD BACKFIRE BEAUTIFULLY
TL;DR: On GH, Jenz Sidwell sprang a mirrored-phone trap on Ezra and strong-armed him into joining his revenge on Laura, Sonny, and Cullum. We predict he armed the exact mole rigged to take him down.
The Mirrored Phone Was a Trap, Not a Booty Call
Ezra Boyle thought he was answering a flirty invitation from Jacinda. He set the mood, poured himself into the fantasy, and opened the door to find his favorite escort nowhere in sight. Jenz Sidwell strolled in instead, having spoofed the whole text from a mirrored phone like the smug puppet master he fancies himself to be.
Then came the squeeze. Sidwell reminded the councilman that he still holds leverage over him, and made it crystal clear he expects Ezra to fall in line for the main event: revenge on Laura Collins, Sonny Corinthos, and Cullum. No room to wiggle, no polite decline. The councilman is now officially on the hook, and the man holding the hook thinks he has bought himself a loyal soldier.
What Sidwell does not appear to know is how badly he has misjudged the chess piece in front of him. He is gloating over a man he believes is cornered, and he will soon learn that cornered men with secrets of their own are the most dangerous players at the table.

Sidwell Thinks He Bought a Soldier, but the Receipts Say Otherwise
Here is the part that makes us cackle. Back in May, Ezra was sitting in Laura’s office helping her quietly engineer Sidwell’s exit from Port Charles, with the two of them only pretending to back his helipad scheme while they hunted for the weakness that would push him into a mistake. Ezra is not Sidwell’s man. He is Laura’s, and he has been for a while.
So when Sidwell crowed back on June 8 that he would have Ezra take Laura’s place once she was behind bars, he was bragging about installing the fox to guard his henhouse. We predict that same arrogance powers the blackmail play. Sidwell sees a compromised councilman with a scandalous secret and assumes leverage equals loyalty. It does not. It only guarantees Ezra stays close, which is exactly where a mole wants to be.
The blackmail might even be the best thing that ever happened to Laura’s side. Sidwell has now pulled his inside enemy directly into the center of his revenge plot, handed him the timeline, and dared him to play along. We predict Ezra plays along beautifully, all while feeding Laura every move before it lands.
The Feral Swing: Sidwell Builds His Own Guillotine
Now let us get unhinged about it. We predict Jenz Sidwell does not merely fail. We predict he loses because the weapon he forged turns in his hand at the worst possible moment, in front of the worst possible audience, with maximum humiliation. Picture the revenge scheme reaching its climax, every domino lined up, and the one domino Sidwell trusted most is the one that topples the entire row back onto him.
The mirrored-phone stunt is the tell. A man that pleased with his own cleverness is a man begging to be outsmarted, and soap law is merciless about punishing hubris like his. We think Ezra lets Sidwell believe he owns him right up until the trap snaps shut, then calmly hands Laura and Sonny the rope. The blackmail Sidwell was so proud of becomes the very thing that documents his crimes.
And here is the cruelest cherry on top. Sidwell has been so busy aiming at Laura, Sonny, and Cullum that he never once considered the councilman might have his own agenda, his own protectors, and his own reasons to want Sidwell gone for good. We predict Jenz Sidwell ends this arc staring at the man he thought he controlled, finally understanding he was the mark the entire time, and we will be feral with joy when it happens.
