GH DANGEROUS GAMES! Jenz Sidwell’s Real Plan for Willow Tait Has Nothing to Do With Politics and Everything to Do With Destroying Sonny
Jenz Sidwell revealed his real plan for Willow Tait’s congressional seat on General Hospital and Sonny Corinthos is squarely in his sights.

WILLOW TAIT IS NOT A CONGRESSWOMAN. SHE IS A WEAPON AND SONNY CORINTHOS IS THE TARGET.
TL;DR: Jenz Sidwell revealed his real endgame on General Hospital — Willow Tait’s congressional seat was never about politics. It was always about using her power to point the FBI directly at Sonny Corinthos.
The Plan Was Never About Willow
Jenz Sidwell stood on the Wyndemere parapet with Marco and laid it all out. The piers he bought from Sonny Corinthoswere only the beginning of avenging Natalia’s death. Getting Willow Tait into Congress was never about giving her power. It was about borrowing it. Willow was once married to Michael Corinthos. She has motive. She has a platform. And now she has the political reach to get the FBI to open an investigation into Sonny’s illegal activities. Sidwell did not install a congresswoman. He loaded a gun and pointed it at Port Charles’s most dangerous man.

Marco Is Nervous and He Should Be
Marco raised every objection a reasonable person would raise. Sonny has slipped out of the FBI’s clutches before. Their own activities could come under scrutiny if they start poking at Sonny’s empire. The timeline is tight. The risks are enormous. Sidwell had an answer for all of it. Once they wrap up their project, they leave town, and then they bring down the hammer. Clean exit, maximum destruction. Sidwell is not operating on emotion here. This is a plan that has been running in the background the entire time Willow was being pressured into a power suit and pushed in front of cameras.
Marco’s nervousness is the most interesting thing in this scene. He is not a man who scares easily. But he is watching his father move pieces across a board that involves a sitting congresswoman, a mob boss, and a woman whose life depends on finishing a prototype on time, and even he can see how many things have to go exactly right for this not to detonate in all directions.
Willow Tait Does Not Know She Is the Weapon
Here is the part that makes this so delicious. Willow Tait thinks she is the one running a long game. She sat across from Lulu Spencer in a press interview and performed humility and redemption with a straight face. She told Nina Reevesprivately that there would no longer be a power imbalance between her and men like Michael or Drew. She believes she is the one holding the power. She does not know that Sidwell has already mapped out exactly how her congressional seat gets used and exactly when he plans to walk away and leave her holding everything.
Willow is playing Sidwell. Sidwell is playing Willow. And somewhere in Port Charles, Sonny Corinthos has no idea either one of them exists as a threat yet.
What Happens When Sonny Finds Out
Sonny Corinthos has survived every attempt to bring him down for decades. The FBI has tried. His enemies have tried. His own family has tried. But those attempts did not come with a congresswoman in the mix who has personal reasons to want him neutralized and a mob-connected villain funding the operation from the shadows. This is a different kind of threat. And Jason Morgan and Sonny are currently focused on Cullum, not Sidwell, which means the man with the real plan is operating completely off their radar.
When Sonny finds out what Sidwell has built around him, and he will find out, the fallout is going to reshape every alliance in Port Charles. We are watching the slowest, most elegant destruction in daytime television right now and we cannot look away.
