A FAISON CORNERS JOSSLYN JACKS WHILE CARLY SPENCER PLAYS WITH FIRE

TL;DR: Josslyn Jacks just got cornered by a Faison on General Hospital — and her mom is way too busy in bed with the enemy to save her.

A Faison Has Josslyn Jacks In His Crosshairs

Cassius Faison just put his hands on Josslyn Jacks — and he is NOT letting go. Friday’s General Hospital cliffhanger left jaws on the floor when the man Port Charles still believes is a back-from-the-dead Nathan West marched into Joss’s apartment, gripped her arm, and made it crystal clear she wasn’t walking out that door alive. The smug WSB rookie who’s been quietly sniffing around Cassius Faison and his late father Cesar’s darkest secrets just walked face-first into the most dangerous family in town with zero backup.

How did Joss get here? Britt Westbourne. The doctor sold her out earlier the very same day, telling Cassius point-blank that the seemingly harmless Spencer girl is a sworn WSB sleeper agent who has been investigating his every move. Britt is calling it the “greater good.” Joss is going to call it a death sentence — assuming she gets the chance to call it anything at all. Her partner Vaughn is locked up at one of Brennan’s black sites. Jason Morgan is rotting somewhere in Jakarta. Joss is completely, devastatingly alone.

Carly Spencer Is Too Busy Cheating To Save Her Daughter

The cruelest twist? Carly Spencer has zero clue her daughter is being hunted. While Cassius was tightening his grip on Joss’s arm, Carly was peeling Valentin Cassadine out of his clothes one floor up in her own bedroom. The fugitive she has been hiding in her attic for months finally shattered her last shred of restraint, and when Jack Brennan let himself into the house and clocked a smashed plate plus two wine glasses sitting on the kitchen counter, the most powerful WSB chief in Port Charles climbed those stairs already knowing the truth.

Brennan kicked the bedroom door wide open. Carly was alone under the sheet. A man’s clothes were piled at the foot of the bed. Valentin had ducked out of sight three seconds before. And Brennan — described by Chris L. McKenna himself as being in pure “heartbroken rage” — demanded one word: “Where is he?!” Carly’s freedom is now hanging by a thread thinner than that bedsheet.

The Mother Who Burns Down Cities Just Dropped Her Own Daughter

Here comes the cruel irony soap fans are going to scream about for weeks. Josslyn Jacks is the daughter Carly has thrown herself in front of bullets for. This is the mother who burns down hospitals, who threw down with Sonny in Metro Court lobbies and Jax in custody courtrooms, who flattened anyone foolish enough to so much as raise a voice at one of her babies. And the FIRST time her grown daughter is in genuine, gun-to-the-head, you-might-not-make-it danger? Carly is too busy entertaining a federal fugitive in her sheets to even glance at her phone.

Reading between the lines of the May 7 spoiler tease, Carly is set to receive a phone call that “alarms” her. My gut tells me that call is the one no parent ever recovers from — that Josslyn Jacks is missing. The moment Carly puts that timeline together, the moment she clocks that Cassius grabbed her own daughter while she was making the worst decisions of her entire life with the WSB’s most wanted man, this woman is going to absolutely detonate. There won’t be a Wyndemere wall left standing.

If history is any guide, the showdown coming next will make their March 5 explosion look like a polite garden conversation. Eden McCoy already warned Soap Opera Digest there is no rug on Earth big enough to hide what Josslyn Jacks and her mother are about to scream at each other. And once Joss survives Cassius — IF she survives Cassius — there is no forgiveness for the mom who chose Valentin’s bed over her own child’s life. Joss never asked for this WSB life. But she is about to find out exactly how brutally alone she really is.
