Lucas Jones Walked Into Carly’s House Glowing About His Future While Marco Rios Was Bleeding Out Alone in the Dark on General Hospital
Lucas Jones told Carly that Marco Rios chose him on GH. At that exact moment, Marco was bleeding out alone on Alexis Davis’ office floor.

LUCAS JONES SAID MARCO CHOSE HIM AND MARCO IS DYING ON THE FLOOR OF AN OFFICE NOBODY IS GOING TO OPEN
TL;DR: Lucas Jones stood in Carly Spencer’s living room on General Hospital, beaming, and told his sister that Marco Rios had chosen him over his father. He said they were leaving Wyndemere. He said they were going to be happy together. He said Marco was his person. At that exact moment, Marco Rios was lying on the floor of Alexis Davis’ office, stabbed in the chest by Ross Cullum, bleeding out in the dark, alone, with nobody coming. This is the cruelest thing General Hospital has done in a very long time.
Lucas Was Glowing
Lucas Jones has not had an easy road to happiness. Not with Brad Cooper. Not with the years of loneliness and loss that came after. Not with the guilt of helping Britt while knowing the danger it put Marco Rios in. Lucas has spent this entire storyline carrying the weight of loving a man whose father is one of the most dangerous people in Port Charles and doing it anyway because Marco was worth it.
And on this night, Lucas Jones finally exhaled.
He walked into Carly Spencer‘s house and he was glowing. Not nervous. Not guarded. Not bracing for the next crisis. Glowing. He told his sister that Marco had agreed to put distance between himself and his father. He told her they were moving out of Wyndemere. He told her Marco had chosen him over Jenz Sidwell.
Lucas said they were going to be happy together. He said it like a man who finally believed it.
Lucas Jones has no idea what happened to Marco Rios. Do you think he finds out in time? Send your theories to [email protected] and we just might publish them!
Marco Was Dying
While Lucas was standing in his sister’s living room describing the future he and Marco were going to build, Marco Rios was on the floor of Alexis Davis‘ office at Miller and Davis. Stabbed in the chest. Bleeding. Alone. In the dark.
Ross Cullum had turned the lights off on his way out. He cleaned the knife while Marco was still conscious on the floor. He read the text on Marco’s phone, stepped over his body, and left him there like he was nothing.
Marco tried to reach his phone. He could not. He collapsed.
The most devastating detail in this entire episode is not the stabbing. It is the door. Alexis and Danny Morgan came to Miller and Davis after Jason Morgan fled the WSB warrant. Alexis wanted to research the WSB’s jurisdiction. She was at the door. Her hand was on the door. Marco Rios was on the other side of that door, bleeding, dying, waiting for someone to find him.
Danny asked her to take him to the police station instead. They left.
Marco is still in that office. Nobody knows he is there. Nobody is coming.
The Cruelest Parallel General Hospital Has Ever Written
Let us sit with the timeline of this night, because General Hospital constructed it with surgical precision and it is absolutely devastating.
Lucas handed Britt the medication at Pier 55. He told her Marco had done the right thing. He said their relationship was stronger for it. He laughed with Britt about how the worst situation either of them had ever been in led them both to finding their person. He told Britt he might even miss her. They said goodbye.
Lucas did not know that while he was saying those words, Marco had already been stabbed.
Lucas went to Carly’s house. He told her they had a room at the Metro Court for the night. He told her they were looking at a house on the lake. He told her Marco chose him.
Marco was on the floor. The lights were off. Nobody was coming.
Lucas is going to go to the Metro Court tonight. He is going to wait for Marco to show up. Marco is not going to show up. Lucas is going to text him. Marco is not going to answer. And the slow, sickening realization that something is very wrong is going to be one of the most heartbreaking things General Hospital has aired in years, because Lucas Jones finally let himself believe in something and that something is bleeding out in a dark office with a phone he cannot reach.
Who Finds Marco? Because That Answer Changes Everything
Here is the question that is going to haunt Port Charles.
What if Lucas is the one who finds him? What if he goes looking for Marco after hours of silence and opens that office door and sees the man he loves on the floor? What if the last thing Lucas said to Britt was that Marco chose him, and the next thing Lucas does is drop to his knees in a dark office and scream?
What if Alexis finds him in the morning? She is going to walk into her office, turn on the lights, and find Marco Rios on her floor. She was right there. She was at that door. She was one sentence from Danny away from opening it and finding him in time.
What if nobody finds him until it is too late? What if Marco Rios dies alone in that office because every single person who could have saved him was pulled somewhere else at exactly the wrong moment? Lucas went to Carly’s. Alexis went to the police station. Jason went to the pier. Cullum walked away.
Marco told Lucas that his father would protect him. Britt told Lucas that Sidwell was not the only one they needed to worry about. She was right. And Marco is paying the price for it in the dark, alone, with nobody coming.
Do you think Marco Rios survives the night? And who do you think finds him first? Sound off below because this is the most heartbreaking storyline on General Hospital right now and we cannot stop thinking about it!
