GH BOMBSHELL! Maxie Jones Told Jenz Sidwell to Start Packing…Has The Villain Met His Match?
Sidwell laughed when Maxie Jones told him to leave Deception. This week she makes her feelings clear on General Hospital and we are terrified for her.

SIDWELL HAS A MURDERER IN HIS EMPLOY, A CONGRESSWOMAN IN HIS POCKET, AND A HOSTAGE IN HIS LAB AND MAXIE JONES JUST POKED HIM WITH A STICK
TL;DR: Maxie Jones walked back into Deception, found Jenz Sidwell embedded with a five-year contract, and told him they needed to discuss his exit strategy. He laughed in her face. This week on General Hospital, Maxie makes her feelings clear — and we are terrified for her.
Maxie Jones Has No Idea What She Walked Back Into
There is brave and then there is Maxie Jones strolling back into Deception after a health crisis, taking one look at Jenz Sidwell sitting in her company like he owns it — because legally, he does — and immediately telling him to start thinking about his exit strategy.
That is not brave. That is magnificent. And it might get her killed.
Here is what Maxie does not know. She does not know that Sidwell has Britt Westbourne held hostage and working against her will on a cold fusion prototype. She does not know that he forced Willow Tait into a congressional seat under threat of losing her children. She does not know that he murdered someone in front of a witness, that he owns the piers he stripped from Sonny Corinthos, that he has Pascal watching every move at Wyndemere. She walked into that office armed with nothing but her own considerable nerve and a five-year contract she wants to break.
Sidwell did not laugh her off because he found her amusing. He laughed her off because she is not a threat to him yet. The question is what happens when she becomes one.
Sidwell Does Not Walk Away From Things He Controls
When Lucy tried to explain the Deception deal to Maxie, she framed it as a rescue. No other options, guardian angel, no equity exchanged — just control of raw materials, shipping, and distribution. What Lucy could not bring herself to say out loud is that a man who controls your supply chain controls your company. Sidwell does not need his name on the door. He already owns the building.
Maxie understood that immediately. That is why she shut down his lunch invitation, declined his offer to bring her up to speed, and told him point blank that she needed to discuss his exit from Deception. She is sharp enough to see exactly what he has done. What she cannot see is the full picture of who she is dealing with.

This Week She Makes Her Feelings Clear. To Whom?
The spoilers tell us Maxie makes her feelings clear on Friday. That one line is doing a lot of work. After Spinelli, after Nathan, after everything she has been through with her heart this year — is this about Sidwell? Is this about the Deception situation? Is this about Nathan and Lulu, whose private encounter someone witnesses Wednesday?
Our wildest theory: Maxie finds out about Nathan and Lulu before either of them gets the chance to tell her. And Sidwell, who has eyes everywhere in Port Charles, is the one who makes sure she finds out — because a distracted Maxie is a Maxie who is not focused on pushing him out of her company.
That is the kind of chess Sidwell plays. He does not fight battles. He engineers them.
And Maxie Jones, magnificent and fearless as she is, just walked onto his board without a single piece in place to protect her.
Is Maxie Jones the hero who finally brings Sidwell down — or is she his next target? Sound off below and let’s start a war in the comments!
WATCH THIS: Someone needs to stop Sidwell…
@soapoperamag Sidwell walked into Drew's room… and GLOATED. Told him Willow shot him. Told him about the paralytic. Said his caretakers are on Sidwell's payroll. Then said "once she becomes your widow" and made him watch Willow announce her congressional career. This man is EVIL and Drew just had to lay there and take it. #GeneralHospital ♬ original sound – Soap Opera Magazine
