DREW CAIN COMPILED AN ENTIRE FILE ON JACINDA BRACKEN’S CRIMES BEFORE SHE SHOT HIM AND MICHAEL CORINTHOS STILL TOOK HER TO DINNER — SOMEBODY CHECK ON THIS MAN

TL;DR: Jacinda Bracken is a former escort with a criminal record, a dead congressman’s dossier on her crimes, ties to shady councilman Ezra Boyle, and she just slipped him her personal number while dating Michael Corinthos on General Hospital. Michael’s response? Planning romantic dates and smiling. The son of Sonny Corinthos and Carly Spencer should know better.

The Apple Fell From the Tree and Rolled Directly Into a Con

Here’s the thing about Michael Corinthos. This man was raised by Sonny Corinthos and Carly Spencer — two people who can smell a setup from three zip codes away. He grew up in a house where people ran background checks before accepting dinner invitations. He watched his mother dismantle enemies in stilettos. He watched his father end alliances over a misplaced glance.

And yet. AND YET. Michael Corinthos is out here on General Hospital wining and dining Jacinda Bracken like she’s not walking around Port Charles with a criminal record, a history of escorting at his grandmother’s hotel, and a dead congressman’s dossier cataloging her crimes tucked into the Crimson filing cabinet.

Carly would never. Sonny would never. Even Nina — who hired Jacinda under duress and has every reason to use her — looked Michael dead in the face and warned him that Jacinda would be trouble. Michael’s response to all of this has been to plan romantic evenings and introduce her to his son.

We need to talk about this.

A Brief and Devastating History of the Red Flags Michael Has Ignored

Let’s rewind. Jacinda Bracken first surfaced on Nina’s radar because she was an escort who entertained clients at the Metro Court. Nina literally called Jacinda to help frame Drew because she figured a woman who’d been spotted with Ezra Boyle would be exactly Drew Cain’s type. That is the origin story of Michael’s great love. She was recruited to seduce a congressman.

Nina then offered Jacinda a fat check to drop Michael’s alibi. Jacinda took the meeting. Michael found out and convinced her to stay — by paying her more. So now Michael is outbidding Nina for the loyalty of a woman whose affections have been literally on the market since she arrived in Port Charles. This is not a love story. This is an auction.

Then Drew Cain — before Willow shot him in the back and he lost the ability to move — compiled an entire criminal dossier on Jacinda. Every crime. Every connection. Documented and filed. Willow handed that dossier to Alexis and called Jacinda “a criminal” while blackmailing her into taking her custody case. A paralyzed man had more investigative instinct about this woman than the man who is sleeping with her.

She Gave Ezra Boyle Her Number While Dating Michael

Now here’s where it gets genuinely delicious. On February 6, Jacinda ran into Ezra Boyle at the gym — the same Ezra who once offered her triple whatever Michael was paying. Ezra asked her to dinner. Jacinda told him her schedule “might clear up in a month or two” and gave him her personal number.

She did this while dating Michael.

Kristina watched it happen and was visibly confused. And honestly, so are we, because this is either the behavior of a woman hedging her bets or a woman running a long game that Michael cannot see because he’s too busy planning surprise dinner dates.

One week later, on February 13, Jacinda told Michael she wanted to pick the restaurant and “surprise him for once.” For once. As if this woman hasn’t been full of surprises since the moment she walked into his life with a client list and a cover story.

His Own Sister Tried to Pay Her to Leave Town

Let’s not forget that Kristina Corinthos-Davis — Michael’s ride-or-die sister — handed Jacinda a stack of cash and begged her to leave Port Charles before the trial. Kristina saw the writing on the wall. She knew Jacinda’s presence would drag Michael deeper into legal jeopardy. She knew the optics of a Corinthos dating a former escort during an active shooting investigation were catastrophic.

Jacinda took the cash meeting. She did not leave.

She stayed, embedded herself at Crimson under Nina, started “learning the business,” and now has access to Nina Reeves’ office, files, contacts, and the inner workings of the magazine empire connected to Drew Cain — the man she was originally recruited to entrap. If this isn’t a long con, it’s the most accidentally perfect positioning in soap opera history.

Nina Warned Him. Sonny Side-Eyed Him. Even Jacinda Warned Him.

The most devastating part? Jacinda herself told Michael who she is. When Curtis was arrested and the pressure on Michael eased, Jacinda looked at him and said, “And you are dating a hooker.” She knows how Port Charles sees her. She’s been honest about that much.

But honesty about your reputation is not the same as honesty about your intentions. Nina told Michael point blank that Jacinda would be discarded “as soon as he gets what he wants.” Sonny glanced at Jacinda across the Metro Court and told Carly that Michael was changing — and not for the better. Even Nina caught them half-dressed in her office and screamed that family court would have a field day.

Michael heard all of it. Michael ignored all of it. Michael is now planning romantic dates with a woman who has a criminal file, an open invitation to dinner with a corrupt councilman, and the ability to destroy his custody case with a single headline.

The spoilers for the week of February 16 say Michael is “in the hot seat.” We don’t know what puts him there yet. But we have a guess. And she’s probably picking the restaurant.
