TL;DR: Peter August showed up in Anna Devane’s cell on General Hospital and dropped some bombshells that have us SHOOK. “Death isn’t what it used to be,” he taunted. “People in his family don’t stay dead.” And apparently, Daddy Faison is “almost ready to show himself.” Is this a hallucination or has Peter actually risen from the grave?

General Hospital fans, we need to sit down for this one because our jaws are still on the floor.

Peter August — yes, THAT Peter August, the one Felicia Scorpio bludgeoned with a tire iron back in 2022 — just showed up in Anna Devane’s prison cell like he was dropping by for afternoon tea. “Have you missed me, Auntie Anna?” he asked, as casually as if he hadn’t been DEAD for nearly four years.

Anna, understandably, was not having it. She insisted he wasn’t real. She watched him die. She CLOSED HIS EYES after he took his last breath in that Swiss farmhouse.

But Peter August had receipts. Terrifying, nightmare-inducing receipts.

“Death Isn’t What It Used to Be”

Here’s where things went from creepy to absolutely bone-chilling. Peter didn’t just taunt Anna about leaving him for dead. He dropped a bombshell that has us questioning everything we thought we knew about GH’s body count.

“Death isn’t what it used to be,” he said. “Britt and Nathan aren’t dead. People in his family don’t stay dead.“

EXCUSE US?!

Now, we know Britt and Nathan have already made their miraculous returns to Port Charles. But Peter saying it out loud — acknowledging that the Faison-Devane family tree has a revolving door between life and death — feels like GH is telling us something. Something BIG.

And then came the real kicker.

Daddy Faison Is “Almost Ready”

Just when we thought Peter couldn’t possibly drop another bomb, he went there. He reminded Anna how many times his father fooled her over the years. How Faison has “died” more times than we can count. And then he delivered the line that made us scream at our television:

“My father is almost ready to show himself to her again.”

Anna covered her ears. She begged Faison to show his face. And honestly? We’re right there with her because WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

Is Cesar Faison actually alive? Has he been pulling strings this whole time? Is he the one behind Anna’s imprisonment? Is PETER even real, or is this some kind of psychological torture designed to break Anna down?

Vision or Reality?

Here’s the million-dollar question: Is Peter August actually back from the dead, or is Anna hallucinating?

Let’s look at the evidence. Anna is currently being held captive by the mysterious Cullum, who has been threatening Britt and using Rocco as leverage. She’s clearly under duress. She could absolutely be having stress-induced visions of her dead nephew.

BUT. This is the same show that brought back Britt Westbourne and Nathan West from the grave. The same show where Peter himself survived being pushed down a flight of stairs and stuffed in a freezer for MONTHS before popping back up. The same show where Faison has “died” approximately seventeen times.

If anyone could claw their way back from death, it’s a member of this cursed family.

What Does This Mean for Port Charles?

If Peter is truly alive — and that’s a big IF — the implications are terrifying. This man kidnapped his own daughter. He killed Franco Baldwin. He terrorized Maxie for YEARS. He tried to have Jason and Drew killed multiple times. His crimes committed list is longer than some CVS receipts.

And if Faison is coming back too? Port Charles better brace itself because that man is the definition of pure evil.

Emma is already worried sick about her grandmother. If she finds out Peter is haunting Anna’s cell and hinting that Faison is returning? That poor girl is going to need so much therapy.
