RIC LANSING’S SECRET DEAL WITH AVA HAS SONNY OUT FOR BLOOD

TL;DR: Sonny Corinthos is dead set Ric Lansing is plotting against him — but he’s wrong, and Molly may stumble onto the real truth on Thursday’s General Hospital.

Sonny’s Paranoia Is About to Blow Up in His Face

Oh, Sonny. Sweet, stubborn, suspicious Sonny. You’re about to make the worst call of the year — and I mean that with my whole soap-loving heart.

Here we are. Ric Lansing has been quietly piecing his life back together. The Davis basement nightmare? Behind him. The Elizabeth reunion? Glorious. The redemption arc? Earned, episode by episode. And then Ethan Lovett crawls out of the woodwork with intel that has Sonny Corinthos seeing red.

Ethan claims he caught Ric in a heated huddle with Ava Jerome at the Metro Court Gardens. Then — wait for it — Ava sashayed right back to Jenz Sidwell. Sonny put two and two together and got nineteen. Ric lied about being at the D.A.’s office. Justine Turner blew up the alibi. And now Sonny is convinced his brother wants to “finish what he started years ago.” (Translation: that 2003 panic-room horror show with Carly. Blast from the past, anyone?)

Trust me — that’s not what’s happening. Not even close.

The Real Plan? It Might Be the Most Romantic Thing He’s Ever Done

Buckle up. Per General Hospital spoiler chatter, the hush-hush coordination between Ric and Ava may have ZERO to do with mob warfare. Insiders are whispering it’s an art piece. For Elizabeth Webber. Brokered through Ava because — surprise — Sidwell may currently own the dang thing.

Yes. You read that right. The man Sonny is convinced is plotting his demise may actually be hunting down a romantic gift for his girlfriend. Through the most well-connected art dealer in Port Charles. Who happens to live in the lion’s den.

Could this mean Ric is finally choosing love over leverage? Could this mean the man who once terrorized this town has actually — gasp — grown up? My gut says yes. My gut also says Sonny is going to torch it all before the bow gets tied.

Sound off to Editor Amber at [email protected] — are you buying the art-gesture theory, or do you smell something darker brewing?

Molly’s Radar Is Going Off — and It’s Going to Hurt

Then there’s Molly Lansing-Davis. Sweet Molly. Still rebuilding the bridge with her father after the 2025 basement carnage. Still trying to trust the man who finally — FINALLY — looks like he means it.

Per Thursday’s spoilers, her radar is going off. She’s going to pop up at the wrong moment, catch Ric and Ava in their hush-hush huddle, and her whole world is going to wobble. Will she confront him? Run to Alexis Davis? Spiral?

Here’s what kills me. Molly is the truth-extraction device in this family. She walked into the basement and blew up the Dolos Fund. She’ll walk into this and probably crack it wide open too. Meanwhile, Sonny is over venting to Alexis — who, lest we forget, literally chained Ric Lansing to a gurney nine months ago. Talk about consulting an unbiased source.

Justine Is the Only Honest Voice Left

The chef’s-kiss irony? Justine has been begging Sonny to slow down. Dig deeper. Look past the obvious. And Sonny — drunk on suspicion and half a decade of bad blood — keeps brushing her off.

Don’t be surprised if this is the moment Justine becomes the unlikely hero of Ric Lansing’s redemption arc. The ADA who almost prosecuted Sonny may end up saving his brother from him. Reading between the lines, she’s the only person in Sonny’s orbit not poisoned by old grudges or fresh agendas. Alexis can’t see Ric clearly. Carly’s drowning in the Valentin mess. Justine? She’s the cold-eyed pro who actually looks at evidence.

Mark my words. When the trap snaps and Sonny realizes Ric Lansing was buying art, not betrayal? The fallout is going to be UGLY. The apology won’t come easy. And Elizabeth? She’s going to have words. Lots of them.

What do YOU think is really going on?
