GH COVER UP! Tracy Quartermaine and Brook Lynn Quartermaine Are in This Together Now and There Is No Going Back
Tracy Quartermaine told Brook Lynn to hide the car. Dante and Justine just reopened the crash as a hit and run. The timing could not be worse.

TRACY QUARTERMAINE CHOSE HER GRANDDAUGHTER OVER THE TRUTH
TL;DR: Brook Lynn Quartermaine confessed to Tracy Quartermaine on General Hospital today that she caused the crash that put Jordan Ashford in the ICU. She had wine. She drove. She swerved. She kept going. And Tracy’s response was not to call the police. It was to hide the car. Meanwhile, Dante and Justine just reopened the case as a hit and run investigation. The cover up and the manhunt are now on a collision course.
Brook Lynn Could Not Carry It Alone
Tracy Quartermaine was babbling about Danny wrecking Brook Lynn‘s car. She had seen the massive scrape and assumed Danny was responsible. She was irritated. She was lecturing. She had no idea that her granddaughter was about to fall apart in front of her.
Brook Lynn told her the truth. She had wine before she left for Charlie’s to see Gio perform. She got behind the wheel. A car drifted into her lane. She laid on the horn, swerved, hit the guardrail, and kept driving. She did not stop. She did not call anyone. She did not go back to check. Because she knew if the police came, she would have to take a breathalyzer. And if she failed that breathalyzer, she and Chase would lose baby Phoebe before they even got her home.
Brook Lynn swore she did not know the other car crashed. She did not know Jordan Ashford ended up in surgery. She did not know Curtis Ashford pulled his girlfriend from a car that was leaking gas and seconds from exploding. She kept driving because she was scared, and by the time she found out what happened, the lie had already set.

Tracy Quartermaine Did Not Hesitate
Brook Lynn was ready to confess. She was crying. She was about to do the right thing. And Tracy Quartermaine looked at her granddaughter and told her to stop talking.
A full investigation may not exonerate her, Tracy said. The police will talk to Lucy Coe, who was with Brook Lynn before the accident. Lucy will be compelled to tell them Brook Lynn was drinking. Doing the right thing will ruin her life. It will ruin the foster arrangement. It will ruin her marriage to a cop.
Tracy’s solution: move the car next to the boathouse. Cover it with a tarp. By tomorrow, it will be taken care of.
Tracy Quartermaine did not pause. She did not weigh the options. She did not suggest calling a lawyer. She went straight to the cover up like a woman who has been protecting this family from itself for decades and has no intention of stopping now.
Brook Lynn cried. And then she agreed.
The Investigation They Do Not Know About
Here is what makes this catastrophic. While Tracy was planning where to park the car, Dante Falconeri and Justine Turner were sitting in his office reopening the case.
They closed it initially as a single car accident. Curtis’s statement matched the evidence. But Justine told Dante they need to find the other driver. It could have been a hit and run. They need to take care of their own.
The woman they are looking for is married to Dante’s colleague. She lives in the house where Dante has Sunday dinners. Her grandmother is about to hide the evidence under a tarp at the boathouse.
And Jordan? Jordan woke up today and blamed herself for the crash. She cried that she could have killed them both. Curtis told her the other driver never even stopped. Dr. Caldwell removed her bandages and the damage is significant. Multiple lacerations. First and second degree burns. Possible permanent scarring. Jordan asked for a mirror, saw her face, and broke down.
Brook Lynn is at home covering a car with a tarp. Jordan is in a hospital bed looking at scars she will carry forever. And the investigation to find the driver who left her there just reopened.
The Math That Keeps Getting Worse
Chase is a police officer. His wife caused a hit and run while under the influence. His grandmother in law is hiding the car. His partner Dante is investigating the case. And Laura Collins, the mayor, has a personal interest in Jordan’s recovery.
Tracy Quartermaine told Brook Lynn that doing the right thing would ruin her life. But the cover up is going to ruin something far bigger. Because when this comes out, and on General Hospital everything comes out, Brook Lynn does not lose a secret. She loses Phoebe. She loses Chase’s trust. Tracy loses her credibility. And the Quartermaine family loses the one thing they have spent generations pretending they still have: the moral high ground.
Tracy said by tomorrow, it will be taken care of. Tomorrow is not going to take care of this. Tomorrow is when it gets worse.
Tracy hid the car. Brook Lynn agreed to the lie. And the investigation just reopened. How long before this cover up collapses? Sound off below!

Tracy is just like Carly – do what you feel is best for the family member with a problem. Neither have thought about the consequences of covering up the situation and how bad the cover up will present when it is revealed.
