She injected Drew with a mystery substance, watched him collapse, showed up at the hospital playing the terrified wife, and then casually disposed of the syringe in a medical waste bin when nobody was looking.

Smooth, right? Evidence destroyed. Crime covered. Case closed.

Except for one teeny tiny problem: she’s in a HOSPITAL. And hospitals have security cameras. EVERYWHERE.

The moment Willow slipped away from the group to dispose of that syringe, she almost certainly walked past at least one security camera. Maybe several. Every hallway, every corridor, every turn she made to get to that medical waste bin was potentially captured on footage that the PCPD could subpoena at any moment.

Willow Tait was so focused on destroying the physical evidence that she completely forgot about the digital kind. And that oversight might just be her undoing.

All It Takes Is One Suspicious Person

Right now, everyone at GH believes Drew had a stroke. Tragic. Unexpected. Just one of those things that happens. Nobody is questioning the timeline or wondering why Willow briefly disappeared during the chaos.

But what happens when someone starts asking questions?

Elizabeth already knows more than she’s letting on. She’s had doubts about Willow and Drew’s marriage for weeks. If she starts thinking about how Willow was acting at the hospital — the tears that seemed a little too perfect, the convenient timing of her bathroom break — she might just mention it to someone.

And if the PCPD decides to investigate Drew’s sudden “stroke” as something more than a medical emergency? The first thing they’re going to do is pull hospital security footage. They’ll see everyone’s movements. They’ll see Willow slip away. They’ll see her walk to that medical waste area.

And then they’ll start asking why a distraught wife whose husband just collapsed would take a detour to dispose of something before returning to his bedside.

Will it be Elizabeth, who’s been side-eyeing this situation from the beginning? Will it be the PCPD, if they decide Drew’s stroke seems a little too convenient? Will it be someone reviewing security footage for an unrelated reason and noticing something off?

Or will it be Tracy Quartermaine, who called this “karma” but might start wondering if karma had a little help?

Willow has been playing the perfect victim for months now. She survived a shooting trial thanks to double jeopardy. She took down her abusive husband with a syringe and a smile. She destroyed the evidence right under everyone’s noses.

But security cameras don’t lie. And somewhere in the GH system, there’s footage of Willow Tait making a very suspicious trip to the medical waste bin while her husband was fighting for his life.

The perfect crime? Maybe not so perfect after all.
