Willow Tait’s Supply Is Drying Up

Willow Tait has spent months running the most chilling con in Port Charles, and on Tuesday’s General Hospital, the first crack appeared in her armor. Tucked away at Turning Woods with Jack Brennan and her mother Nina Reeves, Willow admitted the one thing she cannot say out loud anywhere else: the paralytic she has been pumping into Drew Cain is running low. Her supplier, Sidwell, is a fugitive. The pipeline is drying up, and she cannot exactly stroll up to Cullum and ask him to restock.

For anyone keeping score, this is the thread that could unravel everything. Drew is not asleep and he is not gone. He is fully awake inside a body that will not move, hearing every word, cataloging every betrayal, blinking out messages nobody bothers to read. The only thing standing between Drew and the truth pouring out of him is a drug Willow is about to run out of. Take that away, and the man she shot gets his voice back.

Why The Paralytic Is Willow Tait’s Whole Empire

That is what makes Willow’s position so deliciously precarious. She has built an entire empire on Drew’s silence, his money, his power of attorney, the congressional seat, the carefully managed image of the devoted wife nursing her husband at home. Every piece of it rests on him staying frozen. The second that paralytic wears off, Willow Tait is not a caretaker anymore. She is the woman who put a bullet in her own husband, and he is the witness.

The walls are closing in from more than one direction, too. Brennan is dangling blackmail leverage on Drew that Nina desperately wants, proof that Drew misappropriated campaign funds, locked in a private WSB safe only Drew can open.
