Cullum Closes In On Valentin’s Hiding Spot
On Tuesday’s General Hospital, the noose around Valentin tightened in the worst way possible, and he does not even know it yet. While Valentin and Carly Spencer braced themselves for him to turn himself in, Cullum was back at Wyndemere quietly doing the math. After tracing that fake Kevin Collins call to a cell tower near Shoreline Road, Cullum landed on a chilling conclusion: Valentin might be hiding out at Carly’s house.
That is the kind of reveal that changes everything, because up to now, Carly’s home has been the one safe harbor in this whole mess. Carly Spencer has been hiding Valentin, falling for him, and plotting to get Josslyn out of Sidwell’s clutches, all under a roof Cullum did not know to watch. Now that he has a location, the clock is not simply ticking, it is screaming.

How Valentin Will Face The Heat
Here is where our heads went on how Valentin handles the heat. We do not think he runs. Valentin told Carly he has to get to Geneva to meet Z, the head of the WSB, face to face, because exposing Cullum as a double agent is the only way to save Josslyn and stop that cold fusion device from going live. That means walking straight into the arms of the organization hunting him, and very likely landing back in a prison cell. Our bet is that Valentin goes through with it, because for once the noble play and the only play are the same thing.
And that is exactly what should have everyone holding their breath for Carly. Think about the timing. The moment Valentin turns himself in or boards that plane to Geneva, Carly loses the one person who has been standing between her and the wolves. If Cullum has truly figured out where Valentin has been hiding, then he also knows about the woman sheltering him, and a man who is already planning to have Britt and Rocco killed is not going to leave a loose end like Carly Spencer alone.
Why Carly Could Be Left With Only Sonny
Imagine the trap. Valentin is gone, Josslyn is still in danger, and Cullum’s people move on Carly while she is at her most exposed. Who is left to come for her? Jack is incapacitated. Valentin is an ocean away or behind bars. The list of people with the muscle and the motive to charge in and save Carly Spencer gets very short, very fast. And at the very top of that short list sits one name nobody can ignore.
We are talking, of course, about Sonny. For all their history, all the times they have saved and infuriated each other, Sonny has never once let Carly face real danger alone when it counted. If the baddies close in and everyone else is off the board, our money is on Sonny being the one who comes barreling through the door. It would be the ultimate twist, the ex-husband riding to the rescue right when Valentin’s grand sacrifice leaves Carly with no one else, and we cannot wait to see if Port Charles takes us there.
