Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: A Daphne Rose Walton Pregnancy Would Shatter Steffy’s Surrogacy Lie
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: if Daphne turns up pregnant, Steffy must choose between telling the truth and keeping the baby she carries.
IF DAPHNE ROSE WALTON TURNS UP PREGNANT, STEFFY RUNS OUT OF ROOM
TL;DR: Bold and the Beautiful spoiler chatter floats a what if: Daphne Rose Walton turning up pregnant. Nothing has aired and no preview backs it, but if it happens, Steffy’s surrogacy cover story is finished. She would have to confess her night with Carter or hand over the baby she is carrying, and Finn is already on his way home early.
If Daphne Turns Up Pregnant, the Cover Story Has Nowhere to Go
Here is a Bold and the Beautiful spoilers what if that would blow the surrogacy story apart: Daphne Rose Walton turning up pregnant. It is chatter, not a confirmed spoiler, and nothing on screen points to it. On July 16 Daphne sat Carter down after a diagnosis of premature ovarian insufficiency and said, “I’m infertile. I can’t give you the family you want.” But if she ends up expecting anyway, the math changes for everyone inside this lie.
Remember what the lie is. Steffy Forrester Finnegan is about two months pregnant with a baby she believes is Carter Walton‘s, from one night at Forrester in August. To hide it, Carter told Daphne on October 2 that an embryo had been implanted and “Steffy is our surrogate.” Daphne wept and thanked her friend, and Steffy answered on October 5 that no, she is not a great friend. Ever since Daphne started asking why she was kept in the dark, the whole scheme has rested on one fact: Daphne needs Steffy to carry her baby.
A pregnant Daphne would pull that fact out from under them, and the timing could not be worse. What is confirmed: network previews say Steffy panics on Thursday, October 15, when John “Finn” Finnegan tells her he is coming home early, and on Friday she debates telling him the truth. The full week is in our two-week Bold and the Beautiful spoilers.
If Daphne’s test ever came back positive, should Steffy confess on the spot? Make your case to me at amber@soapoperamagazine.com.

Steffy’s Impossible Choice Has Two Doors, and Both Are Locked
Picture the morning Daphne would show Steffy a positive test. Door one is the truth. Steffy slept with her friend’s husband, then let that friend thank her for a procedure that never happened, and the backlash would hit everywhere at once. Door two is the lie: keep playing surrogate and hand the baby over to Carter and Daphne.
That second door is the cruel one. Under the cover story, the child Steffy is carrying was never hers to keep. It was promised. With a baby of her own on the way, Daphne would not even need it, and Steffy would still have to give it up. The chatter frames it as tell the truth or lose the baby, and for a woman who fights like a lioness for her children, that is no choice at all.
Is Daphne Pregnant on Bold and the Beautiful?
No, not as of now. Nothing aired shows a test or a symptom, no network preview mentions it, and on screen Daphne is still the woman who told Carter she is infertile. She even reminded Carter on October 6 that nobody in their story is pregnant yet.
Here is why the what if deserves a hearing. Premature ovarian insufficiency is not menopause, and real doctors put the chance of a natural pregnancy at roughly 5 to 10 percent, so a pregnant Daphne Rose Walton would be a door the writers left open in July, not a miracle. She has also shown what she does when her marriage breaks her heart. On August 13 she told Carter, “I need to go back to Paris. I’m leaving,” and only came back a week later.

Carter Could Face Two Babies by Two Women
Then there is Carter. If Steffy is right about that August night and this plays out, he would father two babies by two women at once: his wife and his wife’s friend. In the preview for the coming week, Daphne hugs him at work and calls him “my loving, loyal husband,” and he promises, “This is gonna work out… For all of us.” Read that again knowing what Steffy knows.
If it happens, don’t be surprised if Daphne Rose Walton is the one who walks. The chatter floats it too: she could take her baby and leave Los Angeles rather than raise it with a man this deceitful. My gut tells me that if the truth comes out after her own test comes back positive, Paris looks a lot better the second time.

And Finn walks right into it. He said no to the surrogacy on September 23 and left town. Steffy’s body has already been cracking under the lie, and now he comes home to a wife hiding a pregnancy and to Daphne Rose Walton, who might have news of her own. He is a doctor, and he notices things.
Truth or the baby: which door would you pick if you were Steffy? Leave your pick in the comments.

Daphne’s Baby Would End the Surrogacy Lie for Good
We are calling it: if Daphne turns up pregnant, the surrogacy lie does not survive the month. The cover story exists to give Daphne a child, and a child of her own makes it pointless overnight. Steffy cannot keep promising away a baby nobody needs, and she cannot keep lying to Finn under his own roof.
If it comes to that, our bet is that Steffy picks the truth and her baby, and Daphne picks the airport. Team Steffy or Team Daphne? Pick a side on our Facebook page.
