A Full-On Fashion War Between the Logans and the Forresters

In an exclusive fall preview with TVInsider, head writer Bradley Bell confirmed that Katie Logan‘s new venture, Logan Designs, is squaring off against Forrester Creations this fall, with Katie and her sister Brooke Logan on opposite sides. Bell framed it as “Team Katie versus Team Brooke,” with the sisters’ rivalry hitting new levels this season. He said the seeds being planted now will pay off at the show’s 40th anniversary, with a twist he’s calling “shocking.”

RJ Forrester has already pitched Ridge on a new youth line, with Eric and Zende backing him and Electra Forrester set as its face. Bill Spencer sits on the Logan side of the divide as Katie’s husband and business partner. Bell said RJ and Electra will grow closer working on the line together, and that RJ is aiming to prove himself as a designer in his own right rather than riding on the Forrester name.

Steffy and Carter’s Secret Isn’t Going Anywhere Anytime Soon

The night Steffy Forrester and Carter Walton spent together is confirmed real, and confirmed still secret. Bell described the two of them as lonely and heartbroken in the moment, with the whole thing set off by a delayed flight tied to Sheila’s earlier interference. He said a secret like this tends to stretch out over months instead of resolving fast.

Finn currently has no idea, telling his wife he’s grateful nothing damaged their marriage during the Monaco trip. Daphne already walked in on Steffy and Carter mid-conversation once without realizing what she’d interrupted. Carter’s stated priority is protecting his marriage, his friendship with Ridge, and his job, in that order. Bell didn’t say when or how the secret comes out, only that it won’t be soon.

Steffy has separately told Taylor she won’t allow her anywhere near Sheila’s husband, Deacon. She’s drawing that line while sitting on a secret of her own with Carter. Bell said Steffy’s protectiveness comes from firsthand experience with how much damage Sheila can do, having feared for her own family’s safety because of her before.

The Taylor, Deacon, and Sheila Triangle Isn’t Over Either

Deacon Sharpe‘s proposal to Taylor Hayes was turned down. Bell said Taylor’s answer wasn’t about a lack of love, it came down to logic: she’s prioritizing her kids and the life she’s already built over a wedding. He added the rejection will weigh on Deacon since he left his marriage to Sheila Carter expecting a wedding with Taylor in return.

Bell also confirmed Sheila still has feelings for Deacon and still wants to be accepted by Steffy and welcomed as a grandmother to Hayes. Taylor’s kids, Hope and Deke, want their father out of the marriage to Sheila entirely and are pushing him toward Taylor instead. Bell added that Deke has his own design ambitions in the works, separate from the Taylor and Deacon storyline, with Hope in his corner throughout.
