CARTER WALTON’S DOCTOR HAS TO FAKE SIX WEEKS, AND FINN IS A DOCTOR TOO

TL;DR: Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn questions the shady doctor Carter Walton promised to find, the week of October 19. No day is set. The doctor’s real job is the calendar: Steffy is about 11 weeks pregnant, and the paperwork has to say five.

Finn Wants a Word With the Doctor Carter Promised

Here is the Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease made for a man with a medical degree: Finn questions Carter’s shady doctor. Carter Walton swore he could make a fake procedure look real, and the week of October 19 he has to produce a doctor willing to back it up. John “Finn” Finnegan, the husband who said no to the surrogacy, wants to question that doctor himself.

No day is set and nothing has aired, but the chatter all points one way. Carter needs a doctor who will play along, Finn wants to investigate, and one forecast says the doctor could crack under the pressure. Daphne Rose Walton wants answers from a medical professional too.

It starts Thursday, October 15, when network previews say Steffy Forrester Finnegan panics as Finn tells her he is coming home early, the scene in our preview of Steffy’s Thursday panic over Finn. On Friday she debates telling him the truth. Everything after that is in our two-week Bold and the Beautiful spoilers.

Carter’s October Promise Left a Doctor-Sized Hole

This doctor did not come out of nowhere. On October 1, Carter Walton told Steffy he had contacts and people who could help, so the procedure would be done and nobody would know the difference. Steffy hit him with the one problem he could not wave away. Finn is a doctor, and he would want to see every scan.

The next day she warned there would be appointments before any process could begin. Carter said “We have to start the clock,” and told Daphne the implantation and fertilization had happened that very day, October 2. Steffy had predicted back on September 16 that Finn would want to meet the fertility doctor. The holes were on screen before any spoiler, the same trouble we spotted when Finn was blindsided by Steffy’s surrogacy dates.

Does Finn Question Carter’s Doctor on Bold and the Beautiful?

Spoilers say yes, during the week of October 19, though no day has been named and nothing has aired. The chatter says Finn finds plenty that does not add up and wants to question the specialist in person. A hopeful friend like Daphne can be soothed with a smile and a form. Another doctor asks for the chart.

The Calendar a Fake Doctor Has to Forge

Here is what that doctor has to put on paper. Frozen eggs must be thawed, fertilized and grown for about five days before a transfer, so an October 2 implantation means a lab date around September 27, four days after Finn said no and left town. The pregnancy blood test comes about 9 to 14 days after a transfer, right on top of Finn’s homecoming.

Then the big one. On Monday, October 19, the paperwork has to say Steffy is about five weeks along, but counting from her August night with Carter she is about 11. The first clinic scan would fall in late October, when the real baby is about 12 weeks: a lentil on the chart, a lime on the monitor. Due dates split too, about mid-May for real against late June on paper.

Here is the twist nobody is talking about: a DNA test cannot catch this lie. The cover story says Steffy’s frozen egg and Carter’s sperm, and if Steffy is right that Carter Walton is the father, the genes match perfectly. The doctor does not have to fake a baby, just six weeks.

Li Finnegan, John Finnegan and Steffy Forrester Finnegan on Bold and the Beautiful

Finn, Li and a Romantic Night That Buys Steffy Time

Finn does not take a medical story on faith. He once ran a paternity test on his own, twice. His adoptive mother, Li Finnegan, is a doctor too, and Daphne emailed Li on September 16 that she was ready to move forward with a surrogate.

Steffy’s answer, per the chatter, is romance: a surprise night alone to convince Finn everything is fine. My gut says it buys her a weekend, not a month. Carter Walton is betting on Finn’s guilt over Monaco, as he said on October 2, but guilt does not change an ultrasound. And Daphne’s wait for news that the procedure worked is a second clock running.

John Finnegan and Steffy Forrester Finnegan on Bold and the Beautiful

If you are waiting for the explosion, the chatter points later. Ridge Forrester and Taylor Hayes are said to learn about the surrogacy the week of October 26 or after, and Taylor already asked her daughter on October 7 whether something was going on. The week of October 19 is the wobble, and the doctor is where the wall starts to give.

Who catches the missing six weeks first, Finn or Daphne? Make your call in the comments.

Carter’s Shady Doctor Has to Fake Six Weeks, Not a Baby

We are calling it: this doctor is the weakest link in Carter’s plan. Forms can be signed all day, but nobody can shrink an 11-week pregnancy into a five-week one on a monitor, and Finn knows what he is looking at.

Our bet is the doctor holds through the week of October 19 and folds the first time Finn asks to see the scan. Does the doctor crack for Finn, or does Steffy confess first? Pick a side on our Facebook page.
