B&B’s Bill Spencer vs. Ridge Forrester: The Alpha Male Showdown We Pulled Receipts For

BILL SPENCER AND RIDGE FORRESTER ARE THE SAME MAN

TL;DR: With Forrester Creations and the Logan fashion house at full war, we settled the oldest debate on Bold and the Beautiful. Bill Spencer and Ridge Forrester have spent fifteen years marrying the same women, throwing the same punches, staging the same boardroom coups, and bribing the same judge. We pulled the receipts and made a seven-round scorecard covering shared wives, punch counts, arson, the helicopter vs. balcony incident, and the soapy verdict on whether one is actually worse than the other. Spoiler: they are the same man wearing different cologne.

The Soapiest Debate of the Decade

Bill Spencer and Ridge Forrester have spent fifteen years on Bold and the Beautiful punching each other, marrying the same women, stealing the same companies, and bribing the same judge. With Forrester Creations and the Logan fashion house at full war, bestie, it is time to settle this. Who is the worse man? We pulled the receipts. We made a scorecard.

Round 1: The Same Women

Both men have married Brooke Logan. Both have lost Brooke to the other one. Bill married her after a destination Abu Dhabi wedding Ridge crashed. Ridge has married Brooke approximately seven times. Tie.

Both have also been tied up with Katie Logan. Bill married her twice and they share Will. Ridge was engaged to Katie and broke her heart by kissing Caroline Spencer II in a closed showroom, the same playbook his son R.J. is currently running. Tie.

The tiebreaker is Caroline Spencer II. Ridge married her, lied about being the father of her baby Douglas, and let his own son Thomas raise a child Thomas did not know was his. Bill is Caroline’s UNCLE and torpedoed her marriage to Rick by lying to Thomas that Caroline was dying. Round 1 to Ridge for the years he spent gaslighting Caroline about a vasectomy.

Round 2: The Punch Count

Ridge has thrown punches at Thorne, Pierce, Massimo, Deacon, Nick, Storm, Rick, Oliver, Liam, Bill, Justin, Clarke Garrison, and his own son Thomas. At least thirteen named assaults.

Bill has punched Nick, Liam, Ridge, and a rotation of Spencer rivals. Lower count. Ridge throws hands like it is part of his couture process. Round 2 to Ridge.

Round 3: The Boardroom Coups

Bill bought Forrester Creations outright at one point and made Katie CEO. He burned down Spectra Fashions to put up a Spencer skyscraper, lied to Thomas about Caroline dying to break up Spectra, and currently bankrolls the entire Logan fashion house behind his son Will.

Ridge has staged at least four CEO takeovers at Forrester, including the Steffy-Liam coalition that knocked Eric out. He weaponized his daughter Steffy as president, his son Thomas as designer, and his own father’s emotional state to claim power-of-attorney. Round 3 to Ridge. More coups but Bill has more arson.

Round 4: The Same Judge

This is the receipt that lives rent free. Bill Spencer bribed Hon. Judge Craig McMullen to drop charges against Sheila Carter in 2023. Ridge bribed the same Hon. Judge Craig McMullen to award Katie full custody of Will in 2018. Same judge. Same bribe pattern. Five years apart.

The man clearly has a Forrester and Spencer rate sheet and should not be on the bench. Tie. They used the SAME GUY.

Round 5: The Worst Manipulation Move

Bill’s worst is a tough call. The Spectra arson? The faked Steffy MRI? Locking Katie in a tower? Encouraging Quinn to kill herself after their grandson’s death? Bill has a binder.

Ridge’s worst is the Caroline II baby cover-up. He let his own son Thomas raise his biological child as a Forrester for years while gaslighting Caroline about a vasectomy he knew about and bribed a doctor to stay quiet about. The doctor got hit by a car the next day.

Round 5 goes to Bill because the Spectra arson nearly killed Liam and Sally on screen.

Round 6: Helicopter vs. Balcony

The pettiest round and the funniest in soap history. In 2014, Bill ordered Justin Barber to dump Ridge from a helicopter into the Persian Gulf. Ridge suffered amnesia and washed up on a beach. In 2018, Ridge and Thorne pushed Bill off a Spencer balcony. Bill ended up in a coma. The men have literally tried to murder each other from elevated positions four years apart. Tie. The symmetry is too perfect.

Round 7: The Vibe

Bill struts around shirtless writing sky-pen poetry about Brooke and threatening people with a sword necklace. Ridge broods in cashmere drawing dresses while emotionally manipulating two ex-wives at once. Bill is gaudy. Ridge is pretentious. Tie.

The Final Scorecard

By the rounds, Ridge edges out Bill three to two with two ties. By actual damage to other humans, Bill Spencer is the worse man because of the arson. The honest verdict is that Bill Spencer and Ridge Forrester are the same man wearing different cologne, and the show has spent fifteen years pretending one is the villain and the other is the hero.

The Logan vs. Forrester war heating up right now is being run by two men who used the same judge, married the same sisters, and have each tried to kill the other from a great height. The next round is loaded on Bold and the Beautiful.
