After Carter confided in Brooke that Hope was his “one and only” and he’d do anything to win her back, the Logan matriarch made it her personal mission to shield him from Daphne’s advances. But here’s the kicker – nobody asked her to! Carter is a grown man perfectly capable of choosing who he wants to pursue, and Hope has made it crystal clear she wants nothing to do with him anymore.

The irony here is deliciously painful. While Brooke is throwing tantrums at Forrester Creations, Hope has been having heart-to-hearts with her father, Deacon Sharpe. The ex-con actually gave his daughter some surprisingly solid advice, reminding her how Liam Spencer has always had her back, unlike Carter who turned his back on her when it counted.
Hope has taken this to heart and is reconsidering her feelings for Liam – who, by the way, is currently fighting for his life after suffering a severe head injury. Once Hope learns about Liam’s condition, she’ll be completely focused on him, making Brooke’s crusade to protect Carter even more ridiculous and pointless.
