On Friday’s episode of Bold and the Beautiful, Brooke Logan Forrester decided she was done playing nice. She lit candles, slipped into lingerie, and waited for Ridge Forrester to come home from a long day at the office. When he walked in, she greeted him with a drink and the kind of smile that meant trouble. Then she asked him for one specific thing. Fire Steffy Forrester Finnegan. Hand the co-CEO chair to her. Run Forrester Creations together the way Eric Forrester and Stephanie Forrester used to run it for decades. Ridge stared at her like she’d grown a second head. He asked, “What, fire Steffy?” Brooke said yes. Then she kissed him. Ridge looked conflicted. He kissed her back anyway.

What Pushed Brooke Over the Edge?

This whole thing started with Hope Logan Spencer. Steffy shelved Hope For The Future for the second time in months, redirecting all the company’s resources to Eric‘s couture comeback. Hope was furious. On Thursday, she marched over to her mom’s house and went to work. She reminded her that Brooke Logan Forrester is “Brooke freakin’ Logan,” not a fashion-house mascot. She told her to stop deferring to Ridge professionally and start running the place. She called Steffy a “watered-down version” of Stephanie “with half the talent.” Brooke held out at first, insisting Ridge had earned the right to run the company his way. Then she cried. Then she agreed.

Carter Walton Saw This Coming

Carter Walton is the only person at Forrester Creations with working radar. On Thursday, he pulled Ridge and Steffy aside in the executive office. He praised their teamwork on a major deal and called them a “dream team.” Then, in private, he warned them that the way they were treating Hope For The Future was going to have consequences. He all but spelled out that pushing Hope too far would push the Logans too far. Hours later, Brooke was in lingerie pitching Steffy‘s removal. Carter is rarely wrong about anything, and right now he’s looking like a prophet nobody wanted to listen to.

Ridge Caught Between His Wife and His Daughter

Ridge has the worst Monday ever ahead of him. His wife wants him to demote his daughter. His daughter has put in a decade of work to earn that co-CEO title. The official B&B preview clip shows exactly how this lands. Ridge floats the idea to Steffy. Steffy shuts it down on the spot. Per the preview, Steffy tells Ridge that Brooke “has earned her spot here, OK?” but adds, “she’s not gonna have my job. Tell me you understand that.” That’s not a negotiation. That’s a line in the sand. And Ridge is the one standing on the wrong side of it.

What’s Next for Brooke and Steffy?

Could Ridge actually fire his own kid for Brooke Logan Forrester? Don’t be surprised if Ridge tries to invent a third path that gives Brooke a shiny new title without taking Steffy‘s. Reading between the lines, my gut says Ridge ducks the real choice for as long as he can. If he says no outright though, Brooke could storm out of Forrester Creations entirely and join sister Katie Logan Spencer at Logan with Liam Spencer and Hope. Bill Spencer would love it. Donna Logan Forrester would beg her sister to come back. Zende Forrester Dominguez, who is already raging at Carter over HFTF being shelved, could jump ship next. The Logan and Forrester cold war could go nuclear by the end of next week, and Bridge could be the biggest casualty of all.
