Brooke kept it together in the moment. Brooke did not throw a chair. Brooke smiled politely. Brooke went home. And then Brooke started planning.

Because Brooke Logan is not asking for Co-CEO anymore. She is demanding it now, and the next time Ridge says no, the next item on her list will not be a title. It will be his marriage.

Here is how this plays out. Brooke gives Ridge one more shot. One more chance to acknowledge what we already know, which is that the woman who has been the face of Forrester Creations since 1987 has earned that seat. Ridge stalls. Ridge mumbles. Ridge says he loves her. And Brooke, finally, in front of Hope Logan and a glass of red wine, says fine. Then you can pick. The job. Or the marriage.

The divorce papers go out by Friday. The press release follows. Logan and Forrester are back at war, and Brooke is wearing the engagement ring she returned in 2015 like a museum exhibit because Brooke Logan did not survive forty years of this family to lose the last fight quietly.

Ridge Forrester Has One Place He Always Runs and Her Name Is Taylor

Here is the part of the story Ridge has been looping for thirty years. When Brooke leaves, Ridge runs to Taylor Hayes. Every single time.

So once Brooke walks, Ridge is at Taylor’s door. And Taylor, who has been the one constant in this triangle, opens that door because Taylor Hayes has never once said no to Ridge Forrester when he has shown up looking like a man who has finally come to his senses.

Deacon Sharpe Is the Man Who Loses Most

Deacon Sharpe has spent two years building a real life with Taylor. He has been respectful. He has not pushed her toward anything she did not want, and he has not asked her to choose between him and the Forrester name. He has been everything Ridge never was, and Taylor has been happy in a way she was not allowed to be when Ridge was in the picture.

And now Ridge is in the picture again.

Deacon walks into Taylor’s living room and finds Ridge there. Or finds Ridge has not been there but has been texting. Or Deacon notices Taylor pulling away at exactly the moment Brooke filed and does the math himself, because Deacon Sharpe is not a stupid man and he has been waiting for this shoe to drop since the first time Taylor said yes to dinner.

LA is heading into a four way collision. Brooke wrecks her marriage to make a point. Ridge runs to Taylor because that is the only move he knows. Taylor wavers because Ridge is Ridge and Brooke is finally not in the way. And Deacon Sharpe, the man who actually built a real life with the woman he loves, watches it slip away.

Worst of all, Deacon does not get to be petty. Deacon was a Forrester homewrecker for a decade, and the second he tries to fight Ridge for Taylor, the Forresters get to remind every single person what kind of man he used to be. The history that brought Taylor to him is the history that gives Ridge the upper hand the moment things tip.

Steffy is going to lose her mind. Brooke Logan is going to wear black to a press event. And Taylor is going to have to decide if she wants the man who actually shows up or the man who has spent thirty years promising he will.
