Brooke Logan Has Already Lost and She Does Not Know It Yet

Brooke Logan Forrester has spent forty years being the most important woman in every room on The Bold and the Beautiful. The one whose loyalty everyone needed and whose approval everyone sought. So reader Jim Park writing in to say that Brooke has to lose this one landed with a particular kind of weight, because he is not wrong and the show has already done the work to prove it.

Hope Logan signed with Katie Logan. Quietly, through a private entrance, with her aunt Donna watching in dismay. She looked at a mother who chose Ridge again at the worst possible moment and made a business decision. Brooke is still at Forrester advocating for a daughter who has already left the building, still trusting that Ridge and Steffy will set a timeline that honors her daughter’s work. They will not.

Jim argues Katie wins this round and brings Will on board, and with the entire Spencer family now aligned behind Logan, the Forresters are looking at a rival house with serious infrastructure, the Hope for the Future diamond, and a grudge with excellent funding. Bill Spencer is calling it a sensation and he is not wrong. The press responded. The influencers showed up. And Brooke was not there for any of it because she was busy smoothing things over at Forrester.

Jim Park put it plainly: tired of Brooke’s watery eyes and her lack of backbone. That is going to read as harsh to some fans and as overdue to others, which is exactly what good television is supposed to do. She had every opportunity to stand up for Hope and kept choosing Ridge instead. Now the bill has arrived.

The RJ Problem

Here is where Jim Park’s theory gets genuinely unhinged in the best possible way. RJ Forrester has been pursuing Electra Forrester with a focus that has caused real professional damage. He baited Will Spencer into a confrontation at the Bikini Bar reopening, got him fired from Forrester Creations, and has shown absolutely no signs of backing down even after Melissa Dylan figured out exactly what he has been doing. Jim predicts RJ romances Electra as a deliberate play and the rumor mill has been circling a pregnancy storyline for weeks.

Could RJ’s scheming end with Electra caught in a pregnancy that neither she nor Will saw coming? The Bold and the Beautiful has built this triangle with intention. Dylan knows RJ has been actively baiting Will and may be about to tell Electra everything. Imagine that conversation landing at the same time as a positive test. The Spencer and Forrester families are already at war over Logan, over the diamond, over Will’s firing. A pregnancy in the middle of all of that is not a complication. It is a detonation.

Jim also calls Dylan ending up with Will once the dust settles. It is not the obvious pairing, which is precisely why it has a chance of being the satisfying one.

The Part Where Brooke Logan Reckons With All of It

Back to Jim Park’s central argument. Brooke Logan Forrester has to lose this one. Not forever. Not catastrophically in the way that ends careers. But in the specific, humbling way. She is going to stand at Forrester advocating for her daughter’s timeline and discover her daughter already moved on. She is going to watch Katie’s fashion house grow with Hope as the centerpiece. She is going to have to sit with the fact that the appeal to Ridge did not work this time, because Hope stopped waiting for it to work.

The version of Brooke that showed up to crash Katie’s fashion show and called it a disgusting little fashion house is not the version that wins this story. The version that finally reckons with what she cost her daughter by choosing Ridge one too many times might be. And Jim Park is betting on Katie to make her get there.
