Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger have filed for divorce after nearly a decade together, according to TV Insider. In a joint statement the two confirmed they are committed to coparenting their two daughters and plan to remain friends.
Brooks played Wyatt Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful and Kruger played Mackenzie Browning on The Young and the Restless. They are one of daytime’s most well known real-life couples.

How They Met
The two met in 2010 on the set of Blue Mountain State. Brooks starred in the series and Kruger appeared in a guest role. Friendship came first. For months Kruger was steering Brooks toward other women while the two spent most of their time together. Then he kissed her and that was that.
Brooks proposed in Paris in June 2014 while The Bold and the Beautiful was filming on location at the Shangri-La Hotel. Kruger had been cast as publicist Eva during that same trip. They married in Hawaii on March 21, 2016.
Their Family
The couple was open about fertility challenges before welcoming daughter Everleigh Jolie in September 2019 and daughter Gemma Wynter in January 2022. Both daughters remain the priority as the two move forward separately.
Where They Are Now
Brooks headlined the film The Roaring Game last month alongside Mickey Rourke and Rob Gronkowski. Kruger has built a strong following as a content creator and was named TikTok Shop’s Beauty Creator of the Year in 2025.
Both have confirmed they are committed to a respectful coparenting relationship and friendship going forward.
