The Bold and the Beautiful
B&B Shocker! Eric Forrester Collapses and The Blame Game Begins!
Eric Forrester is headed for a heart attack and not one person around him is innocent on The Bold and the Beautiful. The blame game starts now.

ERIC FORRESTER IS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE AND EVERY PERSON IN THAT ROOM PLAYED A PART
TL;DR: Eric Forrester is headed for a heart attack on The Bold and the Beautiful and not a single person around him is innocent. Ridge pushed him out. Bill pushed him harder. Katie kept the secret. Brooke backed the wrong side. And Eric chose his pride over his own health. Now the blame game begins.
Everyone Had a Hand in This
Let’s get something straight before the finger-pointing starts. There is not one hero in this story. Not one person who gets to clutch their pearls and act shocked that Eric Forrester is about to collapse on The Bold and the Beautiful. Every single person in that living room contributed to the pressure cooker that is about to blow up in the most devastating way possible, and the only person who’s going to pay the price is the 80-something-year-old man who built a fashion empire with his bare hands.
Ridge forced Eric into retirement. Bill exploited his talent. Katie handed him deadlines. Brooke looked the other way. And Eric, bless his stubborn heart, chose his pride over common sense. Now he’s about to have a heart attack and every one of them is going to stand around that hospital bed acting like they had nothing to do with it.

Ridge Forrester Started This Fire
Ridge didn’t just retire his father. He managed him out. He told Eric the work was covered. He cut conversations short. He dismissed Eric’s pitches to collaborate on the couture line. He wrapped the whole thing in a pretty bow of concern and love, but the message was crystal clear: your time is over, old man. Step aside.
And then today, when Ridge walked into that living room and saw those gorgeous designs, he had the nerve to ask Eric to bring them back to Forrester. He told his father he loved him. He told him he missed him. He told him he was sorry he didn’t appreciate him enough. Beautiful words from a man who spent months making Eric feel like a guest in his own building. Ridge created the vacancy in Eric’s life that Katie filled. He doesn’t get to be outraged that somebody else valued what he discarded.
Bill and Katie Treated Eric Like a Racehorse
Bill Spencer looked at a retired man with a documented heart condition and saw a business opportunity. He told Katie he’d be “mindful to a point” about Eric Forrester’s health. To a point. That’s not concern. That’s a cost-benefit analysis. Bill reminded Katie that Eric made a commitment, that he was working on their schedule with their materials. He reduced one of the most legendary designers in fashion history to a subcontractor with a deadline.
And Katie? She knew. She knew Eric’s health was fragile. She worried about it out loud. She tried texting Donna when she got nervous. But she still handed Eric the contract. She still kept the secret from Ridge and Brooke. She still let a man who should be resting design an entire collection in secrecy because it was her dream come true, and she wasn’t willing to give that up. Katie loved working with Eric. She also loved what Eric could do for her bottom line. Those two things are not the same.
Brooke Watched It Happen and Did Nothing
Brooke backed Ridge’s play every step of the way. When Donna told her Eric was being disrespected, Brooke shrugged it off. When Eric wanted to come back to work, Brooke parroted Ridge’s line that it was his time now. She sat in that showroom and let her husband push his father out of the company that bears Eric’s name. And now that the secret is out, she’s standing in Eric’s living room looking stunned. Brooke didn’t wield the knife, but she held the door open for the man who did.
Eric Forrester’s Pride Could Be the Death of Him
And Eric. The patriarch himself. The man had every opportunity to be honest with his family. Ridge asked him to come back. Ridge offered him a spot on the couture line. Eric could have swallowed his pride, walked back into Forrester Creations, and designed alongside his son. Instead, he chose secrecy. He chose the thrill of proving Ridge wrong over the safety of his own family relationships. He chose Katie’s startup over his own legacy. And now the stress of all that secrecy, all that pressure, all those deadlines that Bill set and Katie enforced, is about to stop his heart.
Eric Forrester didn’t deserve to be pushed out. But he also didn’t have to hide. And now every person who failed him is about to spend the foreseeable future pointing fingers at each other while the man who built everything fights to stay alive.
