The Bold and the Beautiful
His Loyalty Is Cracking! B&B’s Finn Is Buying What Sheila’s Selling and It Could Put Everyone He Loves In Danger
Bold and the Beautiful’s Finn quietly admits to Taylor that he believes Sheila has changed, and Steffy has no idea what she’s up against now.

FINN JUST GAVE TAYLOR A SECRET THAT COULD BLOW UP STEFFY’S MARRIAGE
Finn just told his mother-in-law something he hasn’t told his wife: he might actually believe Sheila Carter has changed. Now Taylor Hayes has to decide what to do with that.
Sheila Gets Down on Her Knees
Sheila Carter is out of tricks and down to begging, and she wastes no time doing it right in front of Steffy Forrester. She wants back into her son’s life, and she isn’t leaving that office without making her case. This isn’t a quiet ask. This is a full performance, knees on the floor and all.
Steffy holds the line, but something about watching Sheila drop down like that lands differently than her usual games ever have. Steffy still refuses her, flat out, and doesn’t budge an inch on letting her back into anyone’s life. But she also doesn’t look away from it the way she used to, and that alone is new territory for both women.

Taylor Finds the One Person Who Won’t Lie to Her
Across town at the cliff house, Taylor Hayes corners Finn with the one question Steffy hasn’t thought to ask yet: does he actually believe his birth mother has changed? He doesn’t dodge it, and he doesn’t hedge it either. He admits, plainly, that Sheila might not be the same woman who once tried to destroy his family, and Taylor hears every unsettling word of it.
This is the quiet part he hasn’t said out loud to his own wife, and Taylor is the one who gets it first. She doesn’t scold him for it, either. She’s lived enough of her own complicated history with impossible people to know that feelings about a parent rarely follow logic, no matter how much blood that parent has spilled. But she also knows exactly what it means if he softens toward Sheila before Steffy ever gets a vote in the matter.
Finn Is Already Choosing a Side
Here’s the part nobody’s saying out loud: Finn didn’t tell Taylor he’s confused. He told her he might be wrong about his own mother, and that’s a very different confession. Confusion fades with time and distance. Belief hardens, and it tends to stay hardened.
Whatever comes next for this family, this quiet shift in loyalty isn’t going to stay contained to one afternoon at the cliff house. Steffy has spent years building a wall around her family with Sheila locked outside of it, brick by brick, sacrifice by sacrifice. Finn is the one holding a brick now, and he doesn’t even seem to realize he’s picked it up.
The Secret Taylor Now Has to Keep
Taylor’s sitting on something Steffy hasn’t heard yet, and every version of this story ends badly if she stays quiet about it for long. Tell her daughter the truth, and Taylor risks planting doubt about her own son-in-law before he’s done anything but talk. Say nothing, and she’s the one keeping secrets in a family that’s already drowning in them. Either way, Finn handed his mother-in-law a decision nobody asked her to make, and there’s no version of this where somebody doesn’t end up furious.
