The problem is that knowing the truth now changes everything.

If Melissa Dylan tells Will what she overheard, she almost certainly loses him. The job she fought for, the stability she scraped together from nothing, the relationship that finally felt like solid ground — all of it could collapse the moment she opens her mouth. Don’t be surprised if she sits on this secret for at least a beat, because the temptation to stay quiet is enormous. This is Bold and the Beautiful. Characters rarely do the right thing when the right thing costs this much.

And yet. Staying quiet makes her complicit. It means Electra keeps directing all her fire at the wrong target.
