WILL SPENCER GOT IT FROM EVERY DIRECTION TODAY AND DYLAN IS THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS NICE TO HIM

TL;DR: Will Spencer went to Forrester and got called a Spencer like it was a slur, went to Logan to confront his parents and got a lecture about commercial enterprise, watched his mother side with his father anyway, came back to Forrester to find Ivy calling him a spoiled Spencer boy, and somehow ended the day with Dylan as the only human being in his corner on The Bold and the Beautiful. We have some thoughts about where this might be headed.

Let Us Set the Scene

Will Spencer woke up today as a young professional trying to do the right thing. He woke up with integrity. He woke up wanting to be taken seriously at Forrester Creations. He woke up as a man who had nothing to do with his parents’ scheme and wanted everyone to know it.

That man had an absolutely catastrophic Tuesday.

By the end of the day Will Spencer had been accused of disloyalty at work, lectured about commercial enterprise by his own father, abandoned by his mother at the exact moment he needed her to pick a side, called a spoiled Spencer boy by a woman who is actively hiding a letter that could fix his entire love life, and sent home to a beach house where the only person who was genuinely happy to see him was Melissa Dylan, the woman currently making his love life complicated.

We are going to take you through this day chronologically because it deserves to be documented.

Is Will Spencer the most wronged person at Forrester Creations right now? Send your hottest takes to amber@soapoperamagazine.com and we just might publish them!

Stop One: Forrester Creations, Where RJ Wants Him Fired for the Crime of Existing

Will arrived at Forrester ready to defend himself and RJ Forrester came at him immediately. Not with evidence. Not with receipts. With vibes. Specifically the vibe that Will is a Spencer and Spencers cannot be trusted and therefore Ridge Forrester should fire him on the spot.

Will stood there and said what his father did was shameful. He said it clearly and sincerely and with what appeared to be genuine distress. Ridge, to his credit, agreed and kept Will on. But the fact that Will Spencer had to stand in his own workplace and defend his right to exist there because of his last name is the kind of thing that would send most people directly home to lie face down on the floor.

Will did not go home. Will went to Logan. Which brings us to Stop Two.

Stop Two: Logan Fashion House, Where His Father Explains Why Actually Everything Is Fine

Will walked into Logan expecting accountability. He was going to look his parents in the eye and tell them exactly how their scheme had affected him personally. He had prepared for this. He had feelings about this. He was ready.

Bill Spencer told him Ridge is a whiner and he is a winner.

Bill explained that you cannot steal what you own. Bill suggested Will come work at Logan because Forrester is turning his brain to mush. Bill got Katie Logan to dance with him earlier in the day and was still riding that high when his son arrived to have a serious conversation about consequences.

When Will finally broke through and said what was really upsetting him, that his father had not once considered how any of this would impact his son, Katie declared that the Spencers would not be at war with each other. Which is a lovely sentiment. Which is also not an apology. Which is also not accountability. Which is also exactly the kind of thing that happens when you are Will Spencer and you have made the tactical error of expecting your parents to reckon with their choices.

He got nothing. He walked back out with nothing. On to Stop Three.

Stop Three: Back at Forrester, Where Ivy Has Opinions

Will returned to Forrester, presumably hoping the worst of the day was behind him. It was not.

Ivy Forrester, the woman currently sitting on a letter that would explain everything to Electra Forrester and potentially fix Will’s entire romantic situation, was in the building having feelings about Will Spencer’s character. She called him a spoiled Spencer boy. She told Electra this breakup was a blessing in disguise. She smiled while saying it. She is hiding the letter that caused the breakup in the first place and she smiled while calling the boy whose life she has been quietly dismantling a spoiled Spencer boy.

The audacity of Ivy Forrester is genuinely one of the great ongoing storylines on this show and we will not be taking questions.

Meanwhile, the Only Person Having a Good Day Is Dylan

While Will was getting absolutely steamrolled from every direction, Melissa Dylan was having what can only be described as a genuinely lovely Tuesday. Deke congratulated her on the new job. Steffy shut down Ivy’s complaints on her behalf. Dylan thanked Steffy and meant it. The whole thing was going beautifully right up until Electra found her in the showroom and delivered the line of the week.

“This is my world, Dylan, not yours.”

Electra Forrester has arrived and she is not playing and we respect every single syllable of that sentence. But that is a story for another article. Right now we are focused on Will Spencer, who is somewhere in this building having the worst day of his professional life.

So Where Does Will Spencer Go From Here?

Here is the thing about terrible, awful, very bad days. They end. You go home. You decompress. You find the one person who is not currently making your life worse and you spend some time in their orbit.

For Will Spencer that person is Melissa Dylan.

Dylan is at the beach house. Dylan has been consistently kind to Will during a period when kindness has been in genuinely short supply. Dylan told Deke she is falling for him. Dylan kissed him and then went to her room because she did not want to make his life more complicated. Dylan is, by every available metric, the only human being in Will Spencer’s immediate world who is actively rooting for him right now.

We are not saying anything is going to happen. We are saying that when you have been dismissed by your father, abandoned by your mother, threatened with termination by your coworker, and called a spoiled boy by a woman hiding the letter that ruined your relationship, you go home to the beach house. And the person waiting at the beach house is Dylan.

Will Spencer’s terrible awful very bad day has to end somewhere. Our money is on it ending exactly where Electra Forrester is most afraid it will end. And honestly? After the Tuesday this man has had, we cannot even blame him.

Will Spencer got it from every direction today and Dylan was the only one in his corner. Is this the week everything shifts at the beach house? Sound off below because this comment section is about to have opinions!
