This morning on The Bold and the Beautiful, RJ Forrester took Melissa Dylan to the Bikini Bar, told her she was special, admired her resilience, paid the bill, dragged her onto the dance floor, twirled her around, and asked her out. She said yes. They locked eyes. They smiled.

Meanwhile, across town, Will Spencer is sitting on the biggest secret in fashion right now, sworn to silence by his mother Katie Logan on his first day at Logan. Hope is the designer. Deke Sharpe is following Eric Forrester. NDAs were signed. Will and Liam Spencer spent their morning talking about how Brooke and Ridge’s heads are going to explode when they find out, and then sobering up when Will reminded his brother that this could also end Hope’s relationship with her mother. Liam worries about the weight on Hope. Will is already thinking about collateral damage. And neither of them was thinking about Dylan.

The Problem With This Date

Let’s be precise about why RJ Forrester and Dylan going out together is such a specific problem for the entire Logan operation.

Dylan works at Forrester Creations. She has been working hard to protect that position. She is not a gossip. She is not a schemer. But she will now spend personal time with RJ Forrester, a man who is very close to his father Ridge and very much alert to any changes in the wind at Forrester Creations.
