RJ Forrester Just Found His Next Complication

Well, well, well. RJ Forrester has been back in Los Angeles for approximately five minutes and he’s already causing problems.

According to The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, Dylan — fresh off getting absolutely dragged by “Ms. Proper” Ivy Forrester — literally crashes into RJ at Forrester Creations, causing him to drop his drink. And while Ivy stands there rolling her eyes at this rom-com collision, RJ turns on the Forrester charm and introduces himself as Steffy’s brother.

Or maybe, as the spoilers tease, he’s just always charming?

Either way, Dylan just went from being told to leave LA forever to catching the attention of fashion royalty’s golden child. And Ivy? She’s absolutely fuming about it.

Ivy Forrester Already Hates Dylan

Let’s set the scene here: Dylan has been through absolute hell. She accidentally killed Luna Nozawa with her car. She confessed everything to Finn and Steffy. She’s been living in her car because she has nowhere to go. And then Ivy — who apparently appointed herself the moral authority of Forrester Creations — told her she doesn’t belong in LA and should leave.

Dylan has no job, no home, and no prospects. She’s been accused of trying to steal Will Spencer from Electra Forrester, which she wasn’t even doing. And now, just when she thought things couldn’t get worse, she literally crashes into a Forrester heir and makes him spill his drink.

But here’s where it gets interesting: instead of being annoyed, RJ is charmed. He introduces himself. He’s flirty. He’s interested. And Ivy is standing there watching this happen with visible disgust, rolling her eyes at the meet-cute like she can already see where this is going.

The Love Quadrangle Is Forming

Executive producer Bradley Bell has been very clear about his plans: he’s building a quadrangle with RJ Forrester, Will Spencer, Electra Forrester, and Dylan. We already know RJ has been eyeing Electra since he got back — he told Will he thinks his girlfriend is “beautiful and sweet,” and he was slyly watching when Will kissed her goodbye. We know Will and Electra are together and in love. And we know Dylan has been living at Will’s beach house because he and Electra took pity on her.

So now we have RJ interested in Electra, who’s with Will, while also being charmed by Dylan, who Ivy hates and who’s living under Will’s roof. Meanwhile, Ivy is ready to destroy Dylan at every opportunity, and this collision just gave her another reason to sharpen her claws.

This is a powder keg waiting to explode, and RJ Forrester just lit the match.

Here’s what makes this pairing potentially delicious: RJ’s last girlfriend was Luna Nozawa. You know, the psycho who turned out to be a murderer? Dylan killed Luna with her car — accidentally, while Luna was fleeing from the authorities. There’s something poetic about RJ finding connection with the woman who ended his nightmare ex-girlfriend’s reign of terror. Dylan didn’t mean to kill Luna, but she did save a lot of people from whatever Luna was planning next.

If RJ sees Dylan as someone who needs protection — someone who’s been unfairly judged, who made a terrible accident and is drowning in guilt — he might become her champion. And that would drive Ivy absolutely insane, which honestly makes it even more appealing.

Ivy Forrester Is Going to Make Dylan’s Life Hell

Mark our words: Ivy is not going to let this romance bloom without a fight. She’s already told Dylan she doesn’t belong in LA. She’s already rolling her eyes at the very idea of Dylan catching a Forrester’s attention. And Ivy has a history of going after women she sees as threats.

If Dylan and RJ start getting closer, Ivy is going to do everything in her power to destroy it. She’ll dig up dirt. She’ll remind everyone that Dylan killed someone. She’ll paint her as a gold-digger trying to trap the Forrester golden boy. And Dylan, who has already been through so much, is going to have to fight for her place in this world all over again.
