DARIN BROOKS TEASES POSSIBLE WYATT SPENCER RETURN TO BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL

TL;DR: Darin Brooks is making fans’ hearts flutter with a cryptic comment about returning to Bold and the Beautiful as Wyatt Spencer. During a recent interview promoting his new film, the actor said “you never know” when asked about a comeback, and honestly? We’re choosing to believe!

That “You Never Know” Has Us Spiraling

Okay, can we just take a moment? Because Darin Brooks just gave Bold and the Beautiful fans exactly what they’ve been cravingโ€”HOPE. And no, not Hope Logan. Actual hope that Wyatt Spencer might grace our screens again!

During the press tour for his upcoming comedy film The Roaring Game, Brooks was asked point-blank about returning to the CBS sudser. His response? Pure soap opera gold. When told that his former on-screen father Don Diamont publicly admitted he missed him during the show’s recent celebrations, Brooks got visibly emotional.

“I miss everybody,” he said. “It’s a good crew over there.”

And then came those four magical words that have the fandom absolutely buzzing: “You never know.”

Excuse me while I rewatch that clip for the fifteenth time!

The Door Was Never Really Closed

Here’s the thingโ€”Wyatt Spencer’s exit back in January 2024 wasn’t some dramatic firing or explosive departure. It was quiet. Almost too quiet. Wyatt handed over the keys to that iconic beach house, told his dad Bill Spencer he needed a change, and just… left.

No death. No major scandal. No burning bridges.

Darin Brooks has always maintained an excellent relationship with executive producer Brad Bell. In previous interviews, he’s described his departure as contracts naturally ending and storylines ebbing and flowing. That’s industry speak for “the door is wide open, folks.”

And let’s be realโ€”Bold and the Beautiful could absolutely use him right now.

The Spencer Family Needs Their Middle Brother

With Liam Spencer currently isolated and Will Spencer stepping into the spotlight as the new young Spencer on the block, there’s a Wyatt-sized hole in this family dynamic. Sure, Will is charming and all, but he can’t replace that specific brotherly energy between Liam and Wyatt.

Remember their legendary debates about women? Their competing for Hope and Steffy? The way Wyatt could call out Liam’s wishy-washy behavior like nobody else?

Yeah. We miss that too.

Plus, with Katie Logan and Bill recently remarrying and launching the new Logan fashion house, wouldn’t it make sense to bring back Wyatt Spencer as a business ally? The man has corporate instincts! He could absolutely hold his own against the Forresters.

What’s Keeping Brooks Busy?

Before you start camping outside CBS studios with “Bring Back Wyatt” signs, here’s the reality check. Darin Brooks has been legitimately busy.

His new film The Roaring Game drops February 6, 2026 on Apple TV, and it’s a big deal. He’s starring alongside Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke and NFL legend Rob Gronkowski in this sports comedy about a janitor who forms an unlikely curling team. The timing coincides with the Winter Olympics, so promotional duties are intense.

Translation? A daytime return isn’t his immediate priority. But “not immediate” doesn’t mean “never.”

Fans Aren’t Giving Up

Social media has been absolutely flooded since Brooks’ interview dropped. Long-time viewers are reminiscing about Wyatt Spencer’s best momentsโ€”his romances, his schemes, his killer charm. And newer fans who’ve only known Will as the young Spencer are curious about this brother they keep hearing about.

The consensus? Bold and the Beautiful needs Wyatt Spencer back. Period.

Whether it’s for sweeps, a special event, or a full-fledged returnโ€”fans are ready. And based on Darin Brooks’ comments, he might just be ready too.

So keep those candles lit, soap lovers. Stranger things have happened in this genre!
