SHEILA CARTER BROUGHT CHOCOLATE TOE COOKIES TO DEACON’S FANTASY WOMAN AND CALLED IT FRIENDSHIP

TL;DR: Sheila Carter, a woman with eight toes and absolutely no business being this confident, brought a box of toe-shaped pastry cookies to the woman her husband thinks about during sex, called her a friend, and left The Bold and the Beautiful feeling like she had won. Reader, she did not win.

The Audacity. The Nerve. The Toes.

Sheila Carter has done a lot of unhinged things on The Bold and the Beautiful, but this one deserves its own trophy case. The woman walked into Taylor Hayes’ office carrying a box of cookies shaped like toes, presented them as a heartfelt thank-you gift, and left convinced she had just made the best friend of her life. The thank-you, to be absolutely clear, was for Taylor helping reignite the passion in Sheila’s marriage to Deacon Sharpe.

The passion that Deacon told Taylor directly was powered entirely by thinking about her the whole time. Every second. Sheila does not know this, Sheila has never known this, and Sheila left that office on her eight remaining toes feeling like the luckiest woman in Los Angeles. The confidence is, genuinely, almost inspiring.

Bite the Toe, Taylor

Sheila did not just drop off the cookies and leave, because that would have been far too merciful for this storyline. She prompted Taylor to bite one of the toe-shaped pastries, watched her yelp in pain, and giggled with what can only be described as genuine delight. She then announced that it feels like all three of them are in this marriage together, pulled Taylor into a hug, and floated out the door without a single regret in her body.

The second she was gone, Deacon slipped into Taylor’s office and told her he cannot get her out of his head. The chocolate from Sheila’s toe cookies was barely off Taylor’s lips, and Sheila was probably still in the elevator hitting the lobby button. This is The Bold and the Beautiful operating at peak insanity, and we would not have it any other way.

Deacon Has a Type and Her Name Is Not Sheila

Over at Il Giardino, Deke had been working overtime trying to nudge his father toward honesty, telling Deacon that if he loves someone else he needs to stop pretending otherwise. Deacon brushed him off and walked away, which is the move of a man who is absolutely not okay. Then Sheila arrived glowing, made sure to inform Deke that his father is incredibly talented, and credited Taylor entirely for the bedroom breakthrough she was thrilled to report on in detail.

The truly spectacular part is that Sheila is not entirely wrong about any of this. Taylor did tell Deacon to go be a husband to his wife, and she pushed him back into Sheila’s arms out of guilt and self-sacrifice. She just did not account for the part where Deacon spent the entire time thinking about her anyway, and then showed up in her office the second his wife left to prove it. Eight toes, zero clues, and the most gloriously unhinged love triangle in Los Angeles.

Is Sheila Carter the most delusional woman on daytime television right now, or is she playing a longer game than anyone realizes? Make your case in the comments below.

WATCH THIS: Enough with the toes, thanks.

@soapoperamag B&B needs to CALM DOWN with the FEET! Real talk, I can't anymore! I love me some She-Devil but I don't need to see those eight toes this often. Is anyone else kinda sorta reaching the end of their rope about it? #BoldandtheBeautiful ♬ original sound – Soap Opera Magazine
