THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN! Will B&B’s Steffy Forrester Lose Far More Than Her Marriage?

STEFFY FORRESTER COULD LOSE HER HUSBAND AND HER CHILDREN

TL;DR: The walls are closing in on Steffy Forrester over on Bold and the Beautiful, and if Finn and Liam team up while Carter stakes a claim of his own, her marriage could be the smallest thing she loses.

Finn Is Doing The Math, And It Isn’t Adding Up

Steffy Forrester has a husband who can smell a story that doesn’t fit, and Finn has been sniffing since the second she said the procedure had already happened. He stood in the cliff house demanding to know how the woman he married could go through with the implantation while he was out of town, called it so unlike her, and decided she was getting back at him for the night she left him in Monaco. He’s wrong about the why, but he’s dead right that something stinks. When he asked if this is what she truly wants, the best she could muster was that she’s “committed.” Not exactly the language of a woman who is thrilled.

Then Finn got paged, said “we’re not done,” and drove off, which is the sound of a man building a case file. Steffy stayed behind and wept.

Carter Walton is the only one still insisting this plan has legs. Steffy told him she’d hoped Finn would figure out the truth, he hasn’t, and she says a cloud will hang over her marriage for the rest of her life. Carter’s answer is that the baby will be nurtured by love. Lovely sentiment, but love doesn’t carry much weight in a custody hearing. He even admits he hates lying to Daphne Rose, and then he does it again anyway.

And now the cavalry has arrived in scrubs. Li Finnegan wandered into her son’s office babbling about immunotherapy until she noticed he was upset, and when he confessed that Steffy had become the surrogate, she was baffled. Our spoilers say Li is stunned by Steffy and Carter’s plan midweek, and by Friday she and Finn are investigating Steffy’s pregnancy. Two doctors with a hunch is a very bad week for a woman with a secret.

Will Finn Leave Her? Probably

The marriage is the first casualty, and Finn wrote the eulogy himself. On Monday he reminded her their marriage is all about integrity and commitment, the very things their parents never had. Imagine how that speech sounds once he learns what the “procedure” really was. A man who treasures honesty rarely stays in the house of a woman who keeps lying to his face, and every lie covering the last one leaves her more tangled than before.

Leaving is the easy part, though. Could Finn fight her for custody of Hayes Finnegan? He’s a doctor holding a very persuasive list of her fibs, and Hayes is his son too.

Liam Goes BALLISTIC!

Now toss in Liam Spencer, father of Steffy’s daughter Kelly Spencer. He and Finn have never been best friends, but nothing bonds two men like a shared grievance. If they decide they’ve had enough of her numerous lies, they could team up and strip her of the children, one son, one daughter, and one very bad decision between them.

Carter Wants His Day In Court Too

Of course Carter would do the most diabolical thing on the menu and stake a custody claim to his child. This is a man who built a surrogacy cover story out of thin air and keeps lying to his own wife to hold it up. Whatever he calls love will start looking a lot like ownership once the truth lands, and Steffy Forrester is carrying the evidence. Daphne thinks she’s getting a baby from a generous friend. The day she learns whose baby this really is, will she stand beside her husband, or will she be the one hiring the lawyer?
