Two Legends, One Very Familiar Set
Susan Flannery and Ian Buchanan strolled back into the studio where B&B tapes these days on October 20, and executive producer Casey Kasprzyk cheered the occasion. Nobody has said why they dropped by, which only makes it more fun.
Susan Flannery spent 1987 to 2012 as Stephanie Forrester, the matriarch who ran the Forrester mansion. Ian Buchanan played James Warwick, the psychiatrist who married his own patient, Sheila Carter. Textbook stuff.

Stephanie And James Have History
Here’s a fun fact for shippers nobody asked for: back in 1998, James kissed Stephanie while he was married to Sheila. Stephanie and Sheila were rivals, so you do the math.
Now imagine the pair wandering into today’s Forrester chaos. Brooke Logan and Katie Logan are at war, Steffy Forrester is sitting on secrets, and Susan Flannery’s old character would have had Katie’s head on a platter by lunch. James would have booked Steffy a standing appointment.
