B&B SHOCKING: TAYLOR HAYES BLAMES ERIC FORRESTER AND BROOKE LOGAN FOR RIDGE’S COLD FEET

TL;DR: On The Bold and the Beautiful, Taylor Hayes accuses Eric Forrester of manipulating Ridge into abandoning their wedding and blames Brooke Logan for using her influence to steal Ridge back, as Taylor desperately fights to save her engagement.

The Gloves Are OFF! Taylor’s Had ENOUGH!

Oh. My. GOSH! Taylor Hayes is finally saying what we’ve ALL been thinking — Eric Forrester and Brooke Logan are absolutely SABOTAGING her wedding to Ridge Forrester! And you know what? She’s not wrong!

After watching Friday’s episode (September 5), I’m still processing the absolute emotional DEVASTATION on Taylor‘s face. The woman is watching her dreams crumble in real-time, and she knows EXACTLY who to blame. This isn’t paranoia, folks — this is a woman who’s been down this road before and recognizes the warning signs!

What Happens to Taylor Hayes and Ridge’s Wedding?

Ridge Forrester will officially call off the wedding during the week of September 8-12, confirming Taylor’s worst fears about Eric and Brooke’s interference.

The writing has been on the wall ever since Eric had that little “father-son chat” with Ridge on September 4. And by “chat,” I mean the most manipulative guilt trip I’ve seen in YEARS! Eric literally told Ridge that his destiny has always been with Brooke. Not suggested. Not hinted. TOLD HIM.

Can we talk about the audacity?!

Taylor sensed something was off immediately. She’s been desperately trying to pin Ridge down on a wedding date, and he keeps dodging her like she’s asking him to sign his life away. (Which, let’s be real, in Ridge‘s mind, that’s exactly what marriage means — picking ONE woman. The horror!)

Does Eric Really Tell Ridge to Choose Brooke?

Yes, Eric Forrester explicitly urged Ridge to abandon Taylor for Brooke on the September 4 episode, insisting Brooke is the woman he truly wants.

This wasn’t subtle, people. Eric straight-up channeled his inner puppet master and pulled every string he could find. He told Ridge not to base his future on what Thomas or Steffy want — basically dismissing his own grandchildren’s happiness! — and pushed him toward Brooke.

The next day? Ridge was “haunted” by daddy’s words. HAUNTED!

And we’re supposed to believe this is about Ridge‘s happiness? Please. Eric‘s been Team Brooke since the dawn of time. The man was married to her, for crying out loud! He’s the father of two of her children! His loyalty to the Logan clan runs deeper than the Mariana Trench.

Is Brooke Actively Trying to Steal Ridge Back?

Brooke Logan has been consistently pursuing Ridge, reminding him of promises made in Italy and expressing hope to her sister Katie that he’ll return to her.

Shocking absolutely NO ONE, Brooke has been working overtime with her “destiny” speeches.

I mean…

The woman has a PhD in Ridge Manipulation. She knows EXACTLY which buttons to push, which memories to invoke, and which promises to remind him of. That Italy trip keeps coming up, and Brooke‘s wielding it like a weapon!

Thomas Forrester saw right through it the SECOND he returned from Paris. He immediately confronted Brooke about trying to steal his father away from his mother. And what did Brooke do? Play innocent? Act surprised? Girl, we’ve been watching this show for DECADES. We know your playbook!

What’s Next for Taylor, Ridge, and This Mess?

Here’s where things get REALLY juicy…

Could this mean Taylor finally snaps and does something drastic? Given her history of being Ridge’s eternal second choice, don’t be surprised if she decides to fight fire with fire. We’re talking potential revenge romance territory here!

Some fans are speculating Nick Marone‘s return isn’t coincidental. Could Taylor decide to give Ridge a taste of his own medicine? Or — and this would be EPIC — what if she turns to Bill Spencer? Talk about hitting Ridge where it hurts!

Given Ridge‘s history of waffling (the man has left both women at the altar HOW many times?!), this likely leads to him running back to Brooke after some dramatic event that makes him “realize” she’s his destiny. Again. For the millionth time.

Don’t be surprised if we get another classic soap trope thrown in. Amnesia, anyone? A convenient fall that makes Ridge forget his feelings for Taylor? It’s been done before, and these writers aren’t above recycling their greatest hits!

The REAL Problem Nobody’s Talking About

Can we address the elephant in the room for a hot second?

Taylor‘s blaming Eric and Brooke, but honey… the problem is RIDGE!

This man has been ping-ponging between these two women for THIRTY-FIVE YEARS! He doesn’t need Eric whispering in his ear or Brooke batting her eyelashes. Ridge Forrester is fundamentally incapable of choosing one woman and sticking with that choice. Period.

Taylor — a world-renowned psychiatrist, mind you — can’t seem to diagnose the most obvious pattern in soap opera history. She’s not fighting Eric and Brooke. She’s fighting Ridge‘s pathological need to be wanted by two women simultaneously!

The man thrives on the drama. He NEEDS the conflict. A wedding would mean actually choosing, and we all know Ridge would rather throw himself off the Forrester building than make a definitive choice.

Quick Answers for B&B Fans

Q: Will Ridge and Taylor actually get married? A: No, Ridge admits he can’t go through with the wedding during the week of September 8-12.

Q: Is Eric really manipulating Ridge? A: Yes, Eric explicitly told Ridge on September 4 that Brooke is his true destiny.

Q: How does Thomas react to all this? A: Thomas becomes enraged and directly blames Brooke for destroying his family.

Q: Has this happened before with Ridge, Taylor, and Brooke? A: Multiple times over 35 years — Ridge has married and divorced both women repeatedly.

Look, I’ve been watching this triangle since the ’90s, and let me tell you — Taylor deserves SO much better than being Ridge‘s safety net. But will she ever learn? Will she ever realize that the problem isn’t the people around Ridge, but Ridge himself?

Probably not.

Because this is soap opera land, where people repeat the same mistakes for decades and we keep watching anyway! And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. This is the drama we signed up for, and Rebecca Budig is absolutely KILLING it as Taylor right now. The desperation, the frustration, the barely contained rage — it’s Emmy-worthy stuff!

Mark my words: Taylor‘s accusation is just the beginning. This powder keg is about to EXPLODE, and when it does, the fallout is going to affect everyone in the Forrester family.

Buckle up, soap fans. September’s about to get WILD!
