TAYLOR HAYES IS CONDUCTING A FORBIDDEN AFFAIR ON BORROWED FURNITURE AND WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT B&B’S BUDGET PROBLEM

TL;DR: Deacon Sharpe and Taylor Hayes were one kiss away from making love on Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s couch on Tuesday’s The Bold and the Beautiful — and we need to talk about why a world-renowned psychiatrist is apparently so broke she has to conduct her affair in her daughter’s living room.

The Audacity Was Absolutely Magnificent

Let us set the scene for you, because what happened on Tuesday’s The Bold and the Beautiful requires the full context to truly appreciate the audacity on display.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan just threatened to cut her own mother out of her life if Taylor Hayes pursues a relationship with Deacon Sharpe. The ultimatum was clear. The stakes were high. Taylor was devastated.

So where did Taylor and Deacon decide to have their passionate, forbidden, soul-baring romantic moment? At a hotel? At Deacon’s restaurant after hours? At literally any location that belongs to either of them?

No. They did it on Steffy’s couch. In Steffy’s house. Where Steffy lives. Where Steffy’s children sleep. Where Steffy JUST told her mother to end this relationship or lose her family forever.

Deacon told Taylor that nobody has ever made him feel seen the way she does. Taylor gazed into his eyes like he hung the moon. They affirmed their love, sealed it with kisses, and came thisclose to consummating their forbidden romance right there on the cushions where Steffy probably watches television with her kids.

The disrespect is genuinely breathtaking.

We are SCREAMING about this — write to amber@soapoperamagazine.com and tell us if Taylor needs to get her own place!

Why Can’t Taylor Hayes Afford an Apartment?

Here is the question that has been burning in our minds for months now, and Tuesday’s episode finally pushed us over the edge: why is Dr. Taylor Hayes — WORLD-RENOWNED PSYCHIATRIST — living in her daughter’s beach house like a college graduate who cannot find a job?

This woman has treated patients all over the globe. She has credentials that would make most doctors weep with envy. She has presumably been collecting paychecks for decades from her incredibly successful career in psychiatry. And yet somehow, some way, Taylor Hayes cannot secure her own living situation in Los Angeles?

She has to crash at Steffy’s place? She has to conduct her love affair on borrowed furniture? She has to sneak around the home of the very daughter who just threatened to disown her?

We are not saying the Bold and the Beautiful budget is struggling, but we are definitely asking questions. Carter Walton is planning his wedding to take place in the Forrester showroom — you know, the same room where they parade models around in lingerie. The poor guy cannot book a proper wedding venue, and Taylor Hayes — a woman who should be able to afford beachfront property with her eyes closed — is making out with her married boyfriend on her daughter’s sofa because apparently a studio apartment is out of the question.

Is the show okay? Do they need us to start a GoFundMe? What is happening over there?

Sheila Carter Is Going to Have a Field Day With This

Meanwhile, at Il Giardino, Sheila Carter is wandering around wondering where her husband disappeared to while cutting fish heads in the dining room because heaven forbid the show set up a kitchen.

The answer, of course, is that Deacon is at the home of the woman Sheila has tried to kill, kissing the woman Sheila credits with saving her marriage, on furniture that probably still has Sheila’s fingerprints on it from previous visits.

When Sheila finds out about this — and she WILL find out because Sheila always finds out — she is not just going to be furious about the affair. She is going to be furious about the location. The sheer disrespect of Taylor and Deacon choosing Steffy’s house as their love nest is the kind of insult that sends Sheila Carter into full villain mode.

Sheila was decapitating fish just yesterday while talking about how much Deacon means to her. Now he is one couch cushion away from sleeping with Taylor in the home of Sheila’s own stepdaughter. If Sheila does not burn that beach house to the ground, it will be a miracle of self-restraint.

Get This Woman a Lease Immediately

We love Taylor Hayes. We love the forbidden romance with Deacon Sharpe. We love the drama, the scandal, the absolute mess of it all.

But for the love of all that is holy, can someone please get this woman her own apartment? A hotel room? A timeshare? A tent on the beach? ANYTHING that does not involve her conducting a torrid affair in the living room of the daughter who just gave her an ultimatum about that exact affair?

Taylor Hayes deserves better than sneaking around on borrowed furniture. Deacon Sharpe deserves a location where he is not surrounded by family photos of the people who will murder him when they find out. And Steffy Forrester Finnegan deserves to sit on her own couch without wondering what her mother has been doing on it.

Bold and the Beautiful, we are begging you. Give Taylor Hayes a set. Give her four walls and a door. Give her literally anywhere else to fall in love.

Until then, we will be watching this mess unfold on Steffy’s sofa and screaming into the void.

Do you think Taylor needs her own apartment or should she keep mooching off Steffy while making out with Sheila’s husband? Sound off in the comments!

WATCH THIS: B&B needs to get it together, for real…

@soapoperamag Oh, come on, B&B…Let's be so for real right now… Not only is Taylor having an affair with her patient who is married to the town psycopath, but she's doing it in her daughter's home? Is B&B too cheap to set up a hotel room set? A bachelorette pad? A little apartment? That little shed out back Finn stayed in when Paris was around? No? Nothing? Nada? Okay then…. #BoldandtheBeautiful ♬ original sound – Soap Opera Magazine
