TL;DR: Friday’s Bold and the Beautiful gave us the most ironic firing in B&B history. Ridge Forrester fired Will Spencer from Forrester Creations because R.J. cried hard enough on Brooke’s couch this week. The problem? Will’s mother is Katie Logan, who runs Logan. His father is Bill Spencer, who’s funding Logan’s empire. Ridge didn’t push Will into unemployment, he pushed him into the family business. Will is going to walk into Logan tomorrow with a corner office waiting, and the first call he’s going to make is to Electra. The Logan heist is unfolding in real time.

The Worst Business Decision Ridge Has Ever Made

Bestie, Ridge Forrester made the worst business decision of his entire career on Friday, and we are going to enjoy every second of watching it blow up in his face. On Bold and the Beautiful, he fired Will Spencer from Forrester Creations because R.J. cried hard enough on the couch this week. Will sauntered in expecting a moving-in-with-Electra celebration and got handed a pink slip.

Ridge fired a Spencer. The son of the woman who runs Logan. The son of the man currently pouring his entire fortune into Logan. And he handed him a one-way ticket straight to mommy and daddy on the day Logan was already poaching every other Forrester worth poaching.

The Firing Was a Gift Wrapped for the Wrong Family

Walk through the math. Will Spencer’s mother is Katie Logan, currently building Logan into the biggest dressmaker spotlight in Los Angeles. His father is Bill “Dollar Bill” Spencer, who spent Friday telling Liam he is about to rock Logan’s world with the HFTF diamond.

When Ridge said “you’re fired, Spencer” on Friday, he did not push Will out into unemployment. He pushed him directly into the family business he was raised in. Will is going to walk into Logan tomorrow morning, kiss his mother on the cheek, get a corner office, and have a contract drafted before lunch.

He was already going home to Electra at the beach house, who said Friday morning that “today will be perfect and nothing could ruin it.” Sis was right about the first half. By dinner, she will be hearing the most romantic pitch Will has ever delivered. Quit Forrester. Come to Logan. Mommy will hire you on the spot.

R.J. Got Exactly What He Cried For

The cosmic comedy of this storyline is that R.J. Forrester spent two days flat on Brooke’s couch demanding his father fire the man Electra is in love with, and what he actually accomplished was handing Logan a Spencer-bloodline weapon while removing Will from his orbit by exactly zero feet.

Will is going to keep dating Electra. Will is going to keep designing. He is going to do it across town, in a building Bill funds, alongside Hope and Deke. R.J. did not win. He created the most ironic backfire in recent B&B history and Ridge let it happen because his son made a sad face.

The “love tap” Will gave R.J. at Bikini Bar is going to look like a kiss on the forehead compared to the damage Logan is about to do to Forrester’s bottom line.

Will Spencer Is About to Make Electra a Logan Offer

Friday morning, Electra told Will she could not wait to spend all day with him at the office and all night with him at home. Twelve hours later, his office is gone. Electra will come home to a man with no Forrester job, a hot bruise on his ego, and a phone full of texts from his mother congratulating him on finally coming home.

He is going to make her an offer. Not transferred. Not borrowed. A full Logan position, designed for her, with all the creative freedom Forrester never gave her under Steffy’s thumb. And Electra, who has been telling everyone within earshot that Will is her future, will have to decide whether her future also includes a Forrester name on her paycheck.

The smart money says she follows him. The soapier money says she follows him AND brings Dylan with her.

The Logan Heist Is Unfolding in Real Time

Friday was not one storyline. It was four. Hope offered Deke a Logan job at Brooke’s. Bill plotted the HFTF diamond rollout. Will got fired straight into Katie’s arms. Electra unknowingly became Logan’s next recruitment target.

In ONE EPISODE, Logan acquired or is about to acquire Hope, Deke, Will, and possibly Electra. The only Forresters left at the actual Forrester building will be Ridge, Eric, Steffy, R.J., and the ghost of every payroll dollar Bill is about to siphon out from under them.

This is what happens when a fashion empire fires the one designer whose entire bloodline owns the rival company.

Bring Popcorn, Forrester Lit the Match

The Will Spencer firing is going to look, in retrospect, like the exact moment Forrester Creations lost the war it did not realize it was fighting. Ridge handed Logan a son with a Spencer bank account, a designer girlfriend, and a personal grudge to settle. Bill is going to write him a welcome bonus that would make Eric weep. Katie is going to put his name on the door.

R.J. is going to lie on the couch at Brooke’s, watch the news break about Will joining Logan, and finally understand what he did to his own family on Bold and the Beautiful.
