The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Adam and Chelsea’s mind-numbingly boring relationship has evolved from empty chip discussions to tedious pasta-making scenes at the Newman ranch house, while viewers struggle to stay awake through this recycled storyline.
Adam & Chelsea Beyond Chips, Still Boring but with Fresh Pasta
Finally, Adam & Chelsea are beyond the bag of empty jalapeno lime chips on Young & the Restless, but that does not mean they are not painful to watch. Soap opera fans have seen this movie before, but not inside a Newman Ranch house. After surviving their son’s marry-go-round of OCD treatment from Minneapolis to Baltimore have Adam & Chelsea finally found an escalator of love they’ve never ridden before?

…& finally, we have moved on. Out of nowhere Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) whips up some homemade pasta & made from scratch tomato sauce for his now live-in-baby-momma Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
At least the powers that be at Young & the Restless on behalf of CBS have moved on from Adam & Chelsea discussing an empty bag of jalapeno lime chips meanwhile leaving on the Newman Ranch. Has Josh Griffith compared notes at all with the newest soap in 20+ years which just premiered & is coincidentally also on CBS?
Perhaps Y&R needs a bit more spice than jalapeno chips.
Chelsea Lawson’s Dead Horse Rises Again
Chelsea Lawson’s presence in Genoa City has been painful to most Young & the Restless for months if not many more into years. As of late she’s been bouncing around Genoa City demanding that everyone believe she has only moved to the Newman Compound inside the same ranch house as her ex-husband/baby-daddy Adam Newman to be a united front to their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as he continues to recover from his OCD diagnosis. Well, that dead horse has been beaten & has been fed fresh pasta because that horse has risen again.
There must be something in Adam Newman’s homemade sauce because Chelsea is already into it & more.
Another Dose of PCP on the Newman Compound Down the Road
What in the world is Adam Newman thinking? He can’t be thinking. He & Chelsea have never ended well & even so, her dead horse rises again while his broken record has been broken into so many pieces that it’s beyond the level of rehabilitation that Chelsea supposedly went through after she almost jumped in Genoa City to end her life.
Frankly, it would make much more sense to Young & the Restless fans if Adam were fawning over Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), another blast from his past. Sharon Newman is now on kidnapping #2 within 1 month & Adam doesn’t even know.
What is wrong with this picture? The answer is Josh Griffith.
