Audra Acts Brand New, Victor Newman’s Deals Without Merrit (EVER)
Y&R’s Audra Charles has pivoted & is acting like she’s brand new doing business in Genoa City. Her last deal with Victor Newman is both desperate & demeaning, but as long as Audra gets it in writing, she thinks everything will work out. Is it seriously her first day dealing with the Newmans &/or anyone in GC who has dealt with & ergo screwed over Victor Newman? Audra’s Third Time Will Not be the Charm at Newman
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was dynamite when working at Newman Media as Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) COO. Audra was only let go because she revealed she had feelings. She caught onto Nikki’s trouble with alcohol & was able to relate because of how her dad was when she was growing up. For a bit, Audra was Nikki Newman’s confidant. It was sweet, but not sweet enough for Nikki Newman. According to Nikki Newman, Audra Charles knew too much & had to be let go & had a non-disclosure in writing. Well, guess what?… Anything in writing only works in Genoa City if one’s last name is Newman. Yet, Audra Charles signed with a Newman entity yet again on Y&R…
The second time Audra signed up to work for a Newman-owned entity was after she helped Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) acquire Glissade from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). At first, Glissade was a dream for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) & Tucker McCall that fizzled as fast as their short marriage on Y&R. Then Glissade was a dream for Audra Charles & Tucker McCall. Fast-forward, which many Young & the Restless fans did, Victor Newman screwed over Audra & now the company is basically nothing underneath the Jabot umbrella & rarely ever referenced.
Now Audra is signing with Victor yet again & strongly feels it will go well this time. Why? How? Audra would be better off if she called Tucker McCall for a job or almost anyone else. She’s about to lose it all on Y&R.
Audra & Her Former Co-Worker Claire About to Share Tissues
Speaking of Audra’s short time at Newman Media working for Nikki Newman, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) was there for an even shorter time, but her time there did overlap with Audra’s time. Now, there’s a chance that their mutual lover Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will intimately be entertained sandwiched between time with the both of them, that is if Victor Newman gets his way.
If Audra follows through with what she thinks she will be signing with Victor Newman, she’s sure to accomplish with Kyle Abbott what she is set out to do. Audra will also be rewarded an unfortunate bonus but earned of losing her boyfriend who she basically lives with, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Hopefully, there is not an incoming tissue shortage in Genoa City on Y&R.
Audra Working for Victor vs Claire & Kyle’s Break-up…
Which one will last longer? Audra’s boyfriend is in a good place right now. Nate’s been doing a wonderful job helping his new half-brother’s mother, Amy Lewis (Valerie Pettiford). He’s helped her reconnect with her son Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) & has been helping her with her cancer diagnosis & a new treatment. Audra has been by Nate’s side as she has been unemployed & she has feelings again since that one time working for Nikki Newman. Audra & Nate have become closer, but that is about to blow up. Nate will not have any of it.
So, the question is, how long will Victor Newman keep Audra on & in charge of her own company underneath the Newman umbrella? If he lets her go in short order, Kyle Abbott may apologize his way back into Claire’s life. On the other hand, if Victor keeps her on long-term, he would have leverage to manipulate Kyle into more debauchery, whether that between the sheets or in some new role that causes Kyle to be on the out again with the Abbotts.
If only Tucker McCall would return to Genoa City to be Audra’s #1 Colleague with Benefits. The official identity of Aristotle Dumas is still pending, so there is still hope for Young & the Restless fans who enjoy Tucker & Audra, or even only Tucker McCall.
