Bill Spencer Isn’t Sorry About Any of It

On the latest episode of Bold and the Beautiful, Bill Spencer sat back with Wyatt and laughed about Will punching RJ again. Bill called RJ “the mini soft dressmaker” without an ounce of hesitation and declared him “RJ the instigator,” fully convinced his son did nothing wrong.

Bill Spencer wasn’t done gloating either. He told Wyatt the family is thriving, that Will has his family back, and that things are finally going their way. Wyatt tried to reel his father in a little, warning him not to get too cocky since the Spencers aren’t on Forrester’s level yet. Bill wasn’t having it. He said he can’t wait to see the look on Ridge’s face when he realizes exactly how far they’ve come.

The Huckleberry Line Heard Round Genoa City

Bill Spencer leaned all the way into the rivalry, telling Wyatt he’ll be Ridge’s “Huckleberry” and letting the best man win, because they both already know who that is. “Mr. Handsome,” Bill Spencer called himself, without a shred of doubt in his voice.

Ridge Forrester Storms In

The moment Wyatt exited, Ridge Forrester barged straight into Spencer Publications. Bill mocked him on sight. Ridge told Bill his son is just as vile as he is, and if Bill wanted a war, that’s exactly what he’s got now.

This wasn’t the first declaration of war from Ridge today either. Earlier at Brooke’s, Ridge told Eric that Will won’t get away with what he did to RJ and that if the Spencers want a fight, they’ll get one. Watching Ridge march into Spencer’s own building to say it to Bill’s face proves he meant every word.

Why We’re Rooting for Bill Spencer

Ridge Forrester has run Forrester Creations and half of Genoa City’s opinion of what family loyalty looks like for years, and it is honestly refreshing to watch someone walk into his war path and laugh instead of flinch. Bill Spencer isn’t backing down, isn’t pretending to be intimidated, and isn’t apologizing for his son standing up for himself against RJ, who keeps showing up uninvited.

We are fully on Team Logan here. Ridge has had it his way for far too long, and Bill Spencer strolling in, cracking jokes, and crowning himself Mr. Handsome while Ridge seethes is exactly the kind of competition this show has been missing.
