The Young and the Restless
Cane Ashby Thought He Could Outsmart Victor Newman?? These Monday Y&R Spoilers Say OTHERWISE!
Victor Newman sets a trap for Cane Ashby, Phyllis and Lily finally clash, and the Abbotts strategize to protect Jabot on Y&R.

DID CANE ASHBY REALLY THINK VICTOR NEWMAN WASN’T GOING TO COME FOR HIM ON YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS?
TL;DR: Young and the Restless kicks off December with Victor setting yet ANOTHER trap (because that’s literally all he does), Phyllis and Lily finally throwing down, and the Abbotts having another “protect Jabot” meeting. You know, just another Monday in Genoa City!
Victor Sets a Trap for Cane on Y&R
Oh look, Victor Newman is setting a trap for someone! In news that will SHOCK absolutely no one, The Mustache is up to his old tricks again on Young and the Restless. This time, Cane Ashby is in Victor’s crosshairs, and honestly? Cane kind of walked right into this one.
Cane rolled into town with his shady AI software, got a bunch of people killed in the South of France, and then had the AUDACITY to show up at Danny and Cricket’s wedding reception at the club HE now owns. Sir, read the room! Victor has been waiting for someone new to destroy, and Cane basically gift-wrapped himself with a bow.
Here’s the thing about Victor Newman — the man has one hobby, and it’s scheming. He doesn’t golf. He doesn’t take up painting. He doesn’t binge-watch reality TV like the rest of us. No, Victor wakes up every morning, puts on one of his seventeen identical black suits, and asks himself, “Who shall I destroy today?” And right now, that answer is Cane Ashby. We honestly have no idea what this trap entails, but knowing Victor? It’s going to be ELABORATE. The man doesn’t do anything small.

Phyllis and Lily Take the Gloves Off
Finally! Phyllis Summers and Lily Winters are about to GO AT IT on Monday’s episode of Y&R, and we could not be more ready. These two have been circling each other with passive-aggressive comments for weeks, and now the gloves are officially OFF.
Look, Phyllis has beef with basically everyone in Genoa City — it’s kind of her thing. The woman has made a whole career out of chaos and confrontation. But Lily? Lily doesn’t play games. She’s been through too much to deal with Phyllis’s nonsense, and honestly, we’re HERE for this energy.
This is going to be the clash of the titans that Young and the Restless fans have been waiting for. Grab your popcorn because Red vs. Lily is about to be LEGENDARY. We don’t know exactly what sparked this particular showdown, but does it even matter? These two were bound to collide eventually. It was only a matter of time before Phyllis said the wrong thing or Lily finally ran out of patience. Either way, Monday is about to deliver the drama we deserve.
The Abbotts Strategize to Protect Jabot… Again
In other news, the Abbott family is having yet ANOTHER meeting about protecting Jabot from Victor. At this point, “strategizing to protect Jabot” should just be a permanent calendar event for Jack and the gang. Every Monday at 10am: Coffee, pastries, and figuring out what Victor’s up to THIS week.
You’d think after DECADES of this back-and-forth, someone would just… move? Like, Jack, buddy, have you considered relocating Jabot to a city where Victor Newman doesn’t live? No? Okay, another strategy meeting it is! We love the dedication to routine on Young and the Restless.
In all seriousness, the Abbott family rallying together is always a good time. There’s something comforting about watching Jack, Diane, Kyle, and whoever else they can rope in gathering around to discuss the latest Newman threat. It’s like a soap opera version of a family game night, except instead of Monopoly, they’re playing “How Do We Stop Victor This Time?” Spoiler alert: They probably won’t. But they’ll look GREAT trying.
Between Victor’s trap for Cane, Phyllis and Lily’s showdown, and the Abbotts doing what Abbotts do best, Monday’s episode of Young and the Restless is shaping up to be absolutely UNHINGED. December is starting with a bang, and we are not mad about it!
