NICK NEWMAN REFUSES TO ENABLE MARIE’S RELAPSE

TL;DR: Nick Newman finally draws a line in the sand and refuses to help Marie get high, even as she begs. Meanwhile, Jack Abbott turns down Lily’s peace offering, Billy Abbott makes his own play for Chancellor, and Kyle Abbott and Victoria Newman get caught red-handed by his parents.

Nick Newman Draws a Real Line

At rehab, Victor Newman visits Nick Newman, who admits the shame of letting his father see him like this. Victor refuses to let him carry that weight and promises they’ll fight this together, though he privately worries about how close Nick has gotten to Marie Kirkland.

That worry turns out to be warranted fast. Marie learns her husband is filing for divorce and spirals, convinced someone must have drugs stashed somewhere in the facility, and she wants Nick’s help finding them.

He calls himself a multi-divorced addict who “sucks at puzzles,” admits he understands exactly what she’s chasing, and still refuses. Marie cries that she has nothing to show for any of it, but Nick Newman won’t budge, because helping her score might be the excuse he needs to relapse himself.

Jack Abbott Says No to Lily’s Peace Offering

At her penthouse, Lily Winters is stunned when Jack Abbott turns down her offer to pay off the Chancellor debt. He admits his father could have voided the old agreement for Katherine and chose not to, which makes Billy’s claim legitimate whether Jack likes it or not. He tells her plainly that he has to step back and let his siblings settle this themselves.

Billy Abbott wastes no time capitalizing once Jack’s gone, calling Lily to propose a clean transfer with no lawyers involved. When they meet in person, she reminds him his own brother wouldn’t go behind his back for her, and Billy takes it as proof she already knows he’s right. Lily isn’t ready to concede everything, though, and challenges him to actually prove he deserves to run Chancellor before she hands it over.

Kyle Abbott and Victoria Newman Get Caught

At Jabot, Kyle Abbott and Victoria Newman plot their Vibrante relaunch over drinks that turn flirtier by the minute, joking about a “wardrobe malfunction” and whether it’s really an accident. The energy shifts fast when Victoria offers to help him out of his jacket right as Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins walk in on them mid-scramble.

Kyle brushes it off, promising an explanation once his parents get back from their trip, and Jack seems more focused on Victor’s ongoing refusal to let him near Nick than on his own son’s suspicious behavior. Once his parents leave, Kyle and Victoria toast to “an important moment in Abbott-Newman relations,” fully aware of how much this would drive her father up the wall, exactly the kind of twist this stretch of Young and the Restless spoilers has been building toward.
