TL;DR: Phyllis Summers marches into the Newman ranch and accuses Victor of making Matt disappear, and he barely blinks. Meanwhile, Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins finally get their Tahiti escape, Sally Spectra warns Billy Abbott something’s off with Lily, and Cane Ashby and Lily Winters plot to let Billy hang himself.

Phyllis Summers Picks a Fight She Can’t Win

At the ranch, Phyllis Summers shows up pretending she’s there about Summer, and Victor Newman isn’t buying it, since they both know she hasn’t spoken to her daughter in months. He asks if she’s really there to whine about her half-assed company, and when she demands to know where Matt is, he simply laughs in her face.

Phyllis accuses him outright of making Matt disappear, and Victor suggests she look up his aliases and check the local prison instead. Phyllis Summers reminds him she personally witnessed him threaten Matt and warns she’ll call the police, and he dares her to do exactly that, promising it would only get “the real danger in this town” locked up where it belongs. She storms out swearing he’ll never get away with this, and Victor doesn’t look remotely worried.

Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins Finally Get Their Paradise

In Tahiti, Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins settle into their room and find it stocked with champagne and snacks courtesy of Kyle, a rare moment where he isn’t a headache. Skinny-dipping and slow dancing follow, and Jack makes clear all he wants is a view of his wife.

Later in bed, the mood shifts when the yacht incident comes up again, and Diane admits Dr. Markham accidentally helped her confront a fear that she’ll never be enough for him. Jack insists she’s more than enough and vows to keep proving it.

Sally Spectra Smells a Setup

At Society, Sally Spectra presses Billy Abbott on what Lily really wanted from their putting session, and Billy insists his ex is only testing him before handing Chancellor over. Sally isn’t convinced, pointing out that Lily giving up the company outright doesn’t track, especially with Devon and Nate both planning their exits from Winters.

She floats the theory that Lily could be protecting the company for Cane, or that someone close to Katherine tipped her off to something buried in the past. Billy agrees to stay alert but remains confident he has the law, and karma, on his side.

Cane Ashby and Lily Winters Set a Trap

At her penthouse, Cane Ashby is stunned that Lily Winters let Billy make his pitch without consulting the actual CEO. She admits Jack rejected her payoff offer and she’s starting to doubt the loan story is as clean as it looks, since it makes no sense that Katherine never paid it back.

The two agree there’s something bigger buried here that somebody doesn’t want coming to light, part of the tangled mess this stretch of Young and the Restless spoilers keeps circling, and decide the smartest move is to let it surface on Billy’s watch instead of theirs.
