Victor Newman Smells a Rat

At Society, Victor Newman teases Billy Abbott about eating scraps from Cane Ashby‘s table, after years of Jill Abbott making him feel like the family disappointment. Billy fires back that Victor’s still haunted by Phyllis Summersoutsmarting him, but then drops the real bomb: Victor Newman never told his own father a word about the massive, secret check Adam Newman cut to buy Newman Media back from Sally Spectra and Audra Charles.

The smirk drops off Victor’s face fast, and he marches straight to the ranch to get answers. He wants to know why he’s hearing about his own son’s multi-million-dollar move from Billy Abbott instead of from Adam himself.

Adam Newman Gets Cornered

Adam Newman insists the details don’t matter and warns him not to trust anything that comes out of Billy’s mouth, but Victor is already circling the real question: did Sally get the better of him? Before Adam can dodge, Victoria Newmanbreezes in chattering about a certain trip, and Adam tries to spin the moment into a demand for gratitude instead of an interrogation.

Victor isn’t offering any. Adam storms out, leaving Victor to grumble to Victoria that he’s stuck learning about his own son’s power play secondhand.

Outside, a rattled Adam Newman calls Sally to complain that Billy torched their arrangement by running straight to his father. This isn’t part of the deal, and now Adam is stuck explaining himself to the one man in Genoa City he can never fully out-scheme.

Sienna Bacall Says Her Goodbyes

At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman cannot hide that something is weighing on her, and her kids clock it fast. Noah Newman assumes she’s upset that he’s leaving town, and Sharon admits the house is going to feel achingly empty without him gone. Mariah Copeland promises to fill the silence, joking that Christian will show up looking for a meal regardless. Noah begs them not to tell his father he’s leaving; he doesn’t want anything derailing Nick’s recovery.

Sienna Bacall arrives and asks Sharon for a private word, sending Noah into overprotective mode until Mariah drags him off. Sienna thanks Sharon for taking her in and for a kindness she says she will never forget. The two agree it is for the best that Matt Clark is not sharing a town with Noah anymore, though Sienna admits the “new” Matt has stirred feelings for the man she once loved. She resents that he is the reason she’s uprooting her life, but she is determined not to let him steer it any longer.

Jack Abbott Gets a Reality Check

At Chancellor Park, Nikki Newman catches up with Victoria before Jack Abbott arrives, thrilled to see her out and about. After some punny bickering, Jack asks how things stand with “Grumpy,” wincing when Nikki confirms she and Victor Newman have reconciled.

She insists her husband is still devoted and that he’s agreed to end his feud with Jack for good. Jack isn’t buying that Victor will ever really change, but admits he’s disappointed rather than furious, since deep down he’s still holding out hope Nikki will walk away from her marriage for good.

She points out a dove overhead through the natural light of the café and hopes their two families might finally find some peace.

Noah Newman Says Goodbye to His Dad

At rehab, Nick Newman is in rough shape when Noah comes to see him, explaining that he and Sienna need a break from Genoa City and are heading back to L.A. to work on the club. Noah feels terrible about the timing and offers to stick around if his father needs him, but Nick doesn’t blame Sienna for wanting distance from Matt Clark and admits he’ll miss having his son nearby. They hug it out, with Nick urging Noah not to worry about him and Noah promising to reach out the second anything changes.
