Damian Let’s Dumas Go, Too Good to Be True?

It’s all about the Ds on Young & the Restless & not one of them is Dallas. The entire Winters family is zeroed in on Damian & anyone who has ever done business in Genoa City seems to know of & is interested in Dumas. Isn’t it a little odd that Damian has agreed to separate from Dumas to work for Winters, Inc. when everyone else in town is still way obsessed with him? Also, what is with Lily & Damian? It’s time to make things less awkward inside Nate’s condo in GC on Y&R.

Lily Winters Beats Damian’s Dead Horse of Trust, Insert Wine

Young & the Restless fans are not the only people questioning Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) obsession with Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers). Lily’s cousin Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is. Lily & Damian have the same conversation over & over again, yet they are still mysterious. They question one another’s trust at least once during each conversation they have. Now, pending attorney review, Damian will be working with Lily at Winters, Inc. Nate is supposedly fine with it & his cousin Debbie Downer Devon Winters (Bryton James) claims to be but is doing a horrible job at doing so. All of these people working together is destined to be a hot mess. Nate & Damian have a nice half-brother bond, but they have not yet bonded in business. Nate isn’t yet sold on Damian dumping Dumas to work as a double-agent for Winters, Inc., & why should he be? Especially since Dumas’s legal counsel & friendly face, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), has bounced back to Genoa City with news about her new boss.

Damian Ditches Dumas, Amanda Beats Around His Bush

Amanda Sinclair didn’t return to Genoa City for nothing. She’s up to something, but what? Amanda did have a quick glare at Devon’s wedding band. Does Amanda still feel anything for Devon after he cheated on her with his now wife, Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway)? Supposedly, Amanda is just in GC to let the Winters family know that Dumas has no interest in acquiring or going after Winters, Inc., but respects what all Devon, Lily, & Nate have done. The late Neil Winters (the late Kristoff St. John) was even complimented by Dumas via Amanda.

So, couldn’t all of this Winter’s pomp & circumstance have been done via phone or Zoom? There has to be more to Amanda’s visit to Genoa City & if she doesn’t leave soon, she will have everyone who is obsessing about Dumas on her case until she reveals something.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wants answers about Dumas from her BFF, Amanda. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) wants answers from his old friend Amanda about Dumas. Devon wants to know why Amanda is in town as well & what connection to Damian Kane she has, as they are both employees of Dumas.

Damian & Amy Fall Into Place in Genoa City

How cute?… Damian & his mother, Amy Lewis (Valerie Pettiford), are relocating to Genoa City long-term. Damian is taking a new job at Winters & Amy’s cancer treatment is working & she has longer to live, despite the burial spot & funeral arrangements she already nailed down in Chicago & now they are going to live together.

What happens next with Damian’s associate & friend Holden Novak (Nathan Owens)? Will he take Damian’s place working for Dumas in L.A.? Or, will he find a way to stay in Genoa City so he can continue to stir up trouble with Nate’s girlfriend, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver)?

What about Amanda Sinclair? She’s bound to have ties to Damian &/or Holden. How long will it be before Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) insists upon meeting with her to quiz her about Aristotle Dumas? Amanda is not a pushover. Will she exit Genoa City before The Mustache gets to her? Will Young & Restless ever learn who Aristotle Dumas is & what he’s up to??
