TL;DR: Victoria Newman told Diane Jenkins to look closer to home on The Young and the Restless Friday, April 3, and Diane heard it. She told Kyle she is starting to believe Jack Abbott was in his right mind on that yacht. That has shattered her. And then Jack walked into the GCAC. Meanwhile, Sienna caught Audra Charles touching Noah Newman’s hand over London memories and is sitting on something she has not used yet, and Claire Newman compared Victor Newman to the woman who tortured her and turned down his offer.

Victoria Newman Broke Diane Jenkins and She Did It With One Sentence

Kyle Abbott cornered Victoria Newman at the GCAC and asked her point blank if she was involved in her father’s plot against his family. Victoria was sorry to hear about what happened. She was not sorry enough to stop defending daddy.

Kyle told her Jack Abbott was drugged. Victoria snapped that Jack had a choice and he chose poorly. Kyle told her his father was abducted and his life threatened. Victoria made excuses, said her father’s machinations can be extreme, and held the line that Jack is the one who failed.

Then Diane Jenkins arrived and backed up her son. She laid into Victoria and asked when anyone in that family will have the courage to stand up to Victor Newman. What he did was personal. It was cruel. It was sick.

And Victoria Newman looked at Diane Jenkins and said if she wants someone to blame for her marriage crumbling, she should look closer to home. Then she stomped out.

That sentence landed like a knife because Diane Jenkins was already bleeding. She has been holding onto the belief that Jack was drugged because that is the only version of events her marriage survives. Victoria Newman did not give her evidence. She gave her permission to believe the worst. And Diane took it.

Diane Told Kyle the Thing She Cannot Take Back

After Victoria left, Diane turned to Kyle and said the words that tell you exactly where her head is. She said Jack was in his right mind when they found him on that yacht. Not drugged. Not incapacitated. In his right mind. And that has shattered her.

Kyle tried. He told his mother that Jack would never risk his love for her. Diane Jenkins did not believe him. She told Kyle this has called everything she believed about Jack into question. She urged her son to accept that his father could be culpable.

This is not a woman having a bad day. This is a woman whose entire foundation is cracking. Diane Jenkins fought half of Genoa City to be with Jack Abbott. She came back from the dead for this man. She endured Phyllis, she endured the town’s judgment, she endured everything, because she believed Jack Abbott was the one person who would never betray her. And now she is standing in the GCAC telling her own son that his father might have chosen Patty Williamswith a clear head.

Kyle left to take a business call. Diane turned around. And Jack Abbott walked into the GCAC.

We do not know what happens next. We know that Diane Jenkins is standing there with her heart in pieces and Jack Abbott is walking toward her with a face full of hope and we are not emotionally equipped for whatever conversation is about to happen between these two.

Jack Abbott Is Done and He Told Nikki Newman First

While Diane was breaking at the GCAC, Jack was at Society with Nikki Newman eating fries and making declarations. He told Nikki he is following Billy Abbott‘s advice and giving Diane space. Then he told her that when he formulates his plan against Victor, her husband will never know what hit him.

Nikki told him to lay down the sword. She said revenge will only escalate things. Jack Abbott did not hear a single word of it. He is past the point of being talked down. Victor put Patty Williams on a yacht with him, drugged him, and blew up his marriage. Jack Abbott is not interested in the high road. He is interested in destruction and he told Nikki Newman to her face.

Nikki admitted she caught Diane in a confrontation with Patty. She guessed that Patty was the woman on the yacht. She said she misses the Ranch, she misses her horse, and she even misses Victor. But if there is going to be a reconciliation, Victor has to come to her first.

Jack is loading a weapon. Nikki is standing in the middle. And Diane is across town wondering if she ever really knew her husband at all.

Sienna Caught Audra Touching Noah’s Hand and She Is Sitting on a Bomb

Audra Charles was sitting at Crimson Lights working when Noah Newman wandered over. She told him she hoped her confession that he was the one who got away would not make things awkward. He told her she needs to get out more. They ordered foamy coffee. They talked about London.

Audra said she has been thinking about their time there a lot. Noah admitted he thinks about it too but it is hard not to go to the dark part. She asked him if he remembers the serious fun. He said he could. She wondered what would have happened if she had not lost the baby.

She touched his hand.

And Sienna Bacall walked in at that exact moment, rushed over, and kissed Noah pointedly while Audra looked around uncomfortably.

Later at the counter, Sienna told Noah that one day they will have to share what they know about Audra. One day. Not today. She is holding something. She has information about Audra Charles that she has not deployed. And the way she said “one day” was not a casual observation. It was a woman marking territory and deciding when to use the weapon in her pocket.

Holden Novak showed up after they left and goaded Audra about Sienna. Audra told him to leave. He warned her that she might want to avoid antagonizing the woman who has inside information about their secret. Then he walked to the patio where Cane Ashby was waiting and Cane told him he had a job for him. It would be ugly. He needs Holden to make a move on Victor.

Claire Newman Compared Victor to Jordan and Said No

Claire Newman went to the Ranch and asked her grandfather if he masterminded the split between Kyle’s parents. Victor bellowed that he does not care what it costs him to get his company back. Claire asked what he would have done with Jack if he had not gotten Chancellor back. Victor did not answer directly.

Then Victor offered Claire a seat at his table. He told her Victoria would join the fight and suggested Claire work alongside them. Claire Newman, the woman who was held captive and tortured by her aunt Jordan, compared Victor Newman to the woman who destroyed her childhood and told him she cannot work with him if people keep getting hurt.

Victor Newman got compared to Jordan by his own granddaughter. In his own house. And Claire walked away from his offer. That is the most devastating thing anyone has said to Victor Newman in years and it came from the one person whose opinion he never expected to lose.

Victoria arrived to collect Nikki’s things. Victor refused to discuss his wife and said Nikki has to come to him. Claire brought up his offer and admitted she cannot see herself being part of it. Two granddaughters and a daughter in his living room and not one of them is on his side the way he needs them to be.
