Jack Abbott was kidnapped. He was drugged. He was locked on a yacht with no crew, no signal, and no escape alongside a woman who has not been mentally stable in years. Patty Williams spiked something with ecstasy, waited for the chemicals to do their work, and got exactly what she came for. Every single piece of it was designed, funded, and orchestrated by Victor Newman, who sat at the ranch sipping scotch while another man’s body was turned into a battleground.
Diane Jenkins spent days terrified her husband was dead. She bribed her way onto the right boat. She burst through a cabin door ready to save his life. And when she found him, she slapped him across the face, told him drugs do not erase a wedding ring, and decided that the man who was taken against his will and pumped full of narcotics somehow wanted this. She did not ask who put him there. She did not ask who supplied the drugs. She looked at a man who had just been violated in every sense of the word and told him it was his fault.
The Abbotts make it home and the silence is deafening. Diane slams the bedroom door. Billy Abbott tells his brother to be grateful he is breathing. Kyle Abbott says nothing and pours a drink. Then Diane Jenkins comes back down those stairs with a packed bag, grabs her keys, and walks out the front door without a single word. Victor Newman just won the war without leaving his living room.

Victor Newman Screams “Begone!” at Nikki Newman
Nikki Newman refuses to be thrown out of her own home. Victor tells her to go lick Jack’s wounds. She tells him his vitriol is breaking her heart. He responds with a single, spectacular word: “Begone!” The man gave her this house as a birthday present and is now evicting her from it with the energy of a medieval king who forgot he signed a prenup.
Nikki tells him he will be stuck living with himself and takes her fury to the GCAC, where Phyllis Summers catches the overflow. Claire Newman finds her grandmother shaken to the core. Nikki tells her Victor finally crossed a line he cannot uncross.
Phyllis Summers Trades Chancellor for Jack Abbott
Victor calls Phyllis to the ranch and offers her Jack for Chancellor. She reminds him he wanted everything before. What changed? He will not say. Phyllis looks around the room, takes one long beat, and says: “Done.” She refuses to leave until Jack is released. He says it is handled. She declares she played his game and won. Victor, mid pour, tells her he has always admired her delusional character. Phyllis tells him he will not harsh her mellow and walks out like she owns the place. She does not. But she thinks she does, and honestly that is half the fun of watching her.
Cane Ashby Gets a Long Overdue Reality Check
Cane Ashby corners Victoria Newman and Nate Hastings at Crimson Lights demanding answers about his family. Nate is livid Cane kept all of this from him and Devon. Victoria slips off to Milan and leaves the two of them to go at it. Nate tells Cane to stop blaming Victor and take a look in the mirror. Cane absorbs the hit. He cannot sleep. His kids think he has forgotten them. “Everything changes now,” he promises. Genoa City has heard that one before.
