The Young and the Restless
Y&R Spoilers: Fans Losing Patience With Invisible Aristotle Dumas Storyline
Young and the Restless spoilers: The mysterious Aristotle Dumas has taken over Genoa City conversations while remaining completely invisible. From Victor Newman’s inexplicable failure to track him down to Lily’s obsessive mentions, this phantom character has fans reaching for their remotes.

Who Aristotle Dumas is & Why Y&R Fans Mostly Don’t Care
Just when what may as well have been a Young & the Restless drinking game ended, that being taking a swig every time Summer Newman said “my son,” it has been replaced with when anyone on Y&R mentions Aristotle Dumas, fans have to take a drink. Seriously, who names their kid that? The answer is no one, as per Phyllis Summers. So, who the hell is this guy?
It’s Almost All Made Up: Mrs. Martinez, Christian, & Dumas
The Newmans, Abbott, & Winters families, who all have family companies, are all talking about Aristotle Dumas. Who is Aristotle played by on Young & the Restless? No one. He’s played by no one because, at least for right now, he’s made up in Genoa City. Also on Y&R, no one is playing Mrs. Martinez & Christian Newman, but at least Young & the Restless fans have seen them once upon a time, long, long ago. Is this show now Mr. Roger’s Land of Make Believe? What is going on?
Aristotle Dumas: Another Dead Horse Beaten in Genoa City
Across social media, there are Young & the Restless fans across the land wearing out their fast-forward buttons, speeding through all of the lather, rinse, repeat storylines in Genoa City. Although Y&R fans have yet to see or hear Aristotle Dumas himself, he’s just a couple of weeks from being another beaten dead horse on this show.
How is that of all people, The Almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has never met Dumas? He’s always doing everything in this power as the day is long every damn day. How has The Mustache not been able to pin Dumas down in person?
Even Billy Boy’s Favorite Red Heads Know Of Dumas
The whole town knows of Aristotle Dumas, even Billy Boy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) two favorite red heads, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) & Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). How? This person has never been spoken of until recently, & now he’s the only person almost everyone can talk about in Genoa City, including Billy’s first & second second-in-command at Abbott Communications. Perhaps if Billy Boy spent less time on Aristotle Dumas, he would find himself some office space &/or have the launch party he has been going on & on about when he’s not talking about his pending meeting with Dumas.
Damian Gives Dumas 2 Weeks Notice, Or Else, Per Lily
…& the winner of who mentions Aristotle Dumas the most in Genoa City is Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). She is literally having the same conversation with Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers), who supposedly works for Dumas & is Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) new half-brother, but now she has spiced things up a bit. Lily has requested that Damian give up working for Dumas to work for Winters, Inc. On top of that, she claims to know he’s into her & he wants to explore that. Now Lily will be working on an offer with her Debbie-Downer-Brother, Devon Winters (Bryton James). For the sake of all that is boring, getting Devon more involved with Lily & Damian’s storyline will not make it less boring.
Unfortunately, Young & the Restless fans are bored & some are drunk. Will the real Aristotle Dumas please stand up?
