TL;DR: Young and the Restless gave us two full episodes of Thanksgiving content, but somehow Nick Newman’s son Christian was completely MIA. His bio dad Adam was eating turkey, his legal dad Nick was in LA, and NOBODY mentioned this child. We need answers.
Christian Newman Has Apparently Vanished Into Thin Air
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room that Young and the Restless is pretending doesn’t exist: where on EARTH is Christian Newman? During Thanksgiving at Newman Ranch, Victor gave Nate Hastings a whole redemption speech. Claire Newman got screen time at BOTH the Newman and Abbott celebrations. Connor Newman was mentioned skating with friends. Harrison Locke got to beg Claire to stay for pie. But Christian? Radio silence. Complete and total erasure.
Nick Newman hopped on a plane to Los Angeles to search for Noah with Sharon, and apparently just… left his son somewhere? Did he drop Christian off at a fire station? Is this child surviving on vending machine snacks in the Newman Enterprises lobby? The Young and the Restless writers owe us an explanation because the math is NOT mathing.

Adam Newman Was RIGHT THERE and Said Nothing About His Biological Son
Here’s where this gets truly unhinged. Adam Newman sat in Newman Ranch on Thanksgiving, mentioned that Connor was out skating, talked business with Victor, and never ONCE brought up Christian. You know, his BIOLOGICAL child? The baby he literally delivered with his own hands in Chancellor Park? The son he sued Nick for custody of back in 2019?
Adam has supposedly made peace with Nick raising Christian, but you’d think the kid would at least cross his mind during a holiday about family and gratitude. Instead, Adam was too busy discussing AI software schemes with Victor to remember he has TWO sons, not one. Chelsea asked Adam what he and Victor were whispering about, and he deflected. Maybe they were trying to remember where they left Christian?
Sharon Newman Raised This Child as “Sully” and Also Forgot He Exists
The layers of neglect here are STAGGERING. Sharon Newman spent years raising Christian as her own baby “Sully” after Dr. Sandy Anderson’s twisted baby switch scheme. This woman believed she gave birth to this child. She nursed him, named him after Dylan’s fallen war buddy, and had her entire world shattered when the truth came out. Sharon and Nick have since reconciled, and Christian lived with them both.
So when Sharon flew to LA to help find Noah, did she not think to ask about Christian’s Thanksgiving plans? Did she assume Nick had it handled? Because Nick clearly did NOT have it handled—he was too busy getting choked by Matt Clark in hotel rooms and searching dirty alleys for fentanyl baggies.
Victor Newman Used Christian’s Paternity as BLACKMAIL and Now Can’t Remember Him
Let’s not forget that Victor Newman once used Christian’s paternity as leverage to manipulate Adam. He stood there after baby Christian’s memorial service and told Adam that what he’d done to his own son was “unconscionable.” Victor kept Adam’s secret specifically to spare Nick pain, wielding that information like a weapon whenever it suited him.
Fast forward to Thanksgiving, and Victor is making toasts about never taking family for granted while his grandson Christian is apparently celebrating the holiday in the Witness Protection Program. Victor remembered to make peace with Nate Hastings, but his own grandchild? Forgotten like last year’s leftovers.
