Malcolm Winters walked back through that door on Monday. Tuesday he sits down with Stephanie Simmons, and whatever has been left unresolved between them does not stay that way.

Stephanie Simmons came back to Genoa City telling herself it was for their son, put herself in the running for Chief of Staff at Genoa City Memorial, and has been quietly trying to rebuild the trust she eroded. Malcolm Winters spent his recovery in New York filling Holden in on family lore from a hospital bed. Tuesday they finally have the conversation Genoa City has been waiting for, and whatever gets settled between Malcolm Winters and Stephanie Simmons shapes what this family looks like going forward.

Noah Newman Opens the Shadow Room

Noah Newman built the replica Shadow Room in Genoa City for Sienna Bacall. She already told him it is tainted and she does not want it. He is opening the doors Tuesday night anyway, with Nick convinced it will go off without a hitch and Audra Charles already circling with a torch she has not admitted to carrying. Holden Novak vowed never to set foot inside and is conflicted. The bar that Matt Clark used as a front for his drug operation does not stop being that just because Noah Newman rebuilt it from scratch.

Sharon Keeps Her Distance From Matt Clark

Sharon Newman was the one who said Matt Clark’s remorse looked real. She told Nick that Matt responded to instinct when he saved his life, not strategy. She defended him when nobody else in that room wanted to. Tuesday she keeps her distance, and that is Sharon Newman making the smart call. Victor Newman has Matt Clark at the ranch under a sincerity test. Sharon is keeping it that way.
